A lot of sabre rattling by the people not in power(See John McCain and his parrot (Lindsey Graham) at every instance) but to go to war with a major power from either side would be pretty stupid. As to intelligent people having anything to do with Honey Boo-Boo, now that is a stretch, TV panders to the lowest common denominator, if that is intelligence, we are all in trouble.

Why would they need WWIII, when manufacturers and the US are already doing such a profitable business in weapons supply?

Status: offline 		lol, you think the jihadis are going to cause III? They couldn't even wage a terror war against the US, what makes you think they'll be able to wage a world war? There's not enough muslims in the world who buy into the whole extremist thing to suddenly unite and attack Europe or north america. Chances are it'll be the USA instigating things in tandem with another country or series of countries, like with what's happening with Russia. But only time will tell.

Have you forgotten, the majority of "smarter" in the US have come up with TV shows like "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."

But I doubt if it will reach a nuclear exchange, long before that happens, some rich mother fucker will take a "primitive adventure" vacation, bring back a nice air born virus that makes Ebola seem like the common cold, and before you know it, 3/4 of the world's population is dead and rotting.

Or some biolab trying to develop treatments for weaponized plague or anthrax will lose containment and we all be fucked.

The final possibility is some wise ass will somehow convince all the world's governments to ban nicotine and once the smokers start going through nicotine withdrawal they will riot and everyone will wish for a Zombie apocalypse.


I've been predicting this for years.
Now I know at least one person who won't roll his eyes when I mention it.

That didn't work. We acted with our military. It wasn't the default. You can't really negotiate with AQ over 9/11, either.

War is not the only way to get power, either. And, "war" and "WWIII" are not necessarily the same, either.

War having roots predating banksters doesn't mean that banksters can't be behind all wars now, either (not that I'm claiming they are).

Not to mention (nuclear-armed) Iran and Israel
The jihadis will not fight it by themselves; they're just trying to start it, and I think will succeed.

Status: offline 		It never ceases to amaze me that many many people claim ( the Christian) religion was the cause of so many past wars, and so many many people claim it's just ridiculous and racist and xenophobic to think ( the Islamic) religion may be the cause of the next one. Many times it's the same people.

Many times they just bury their head in the sand as they whistle past the graveyard ( which makes the tune hard to hear lol).

really? there are like a billion muslems in the world, if only ONE PERCENT were to form an army, that's 100 million, pretty decent army....

I predicted this, not here, but to people I talk to face to face, within 2 years of Obama leaving office WW3 will break out

Well I think you're doing that here. Christianity and Islam have historically been war mongers, yes. But today's Islam is not at war with the world--only a few minority groups are. And the same with minority Christian groups who want to conquer the world.

It's a non-starter, except as an excuse and a rationalization, without basis in real numbers.

Status: offline 		I think if we can just hold off a big war for another 10 years world wars will be only in the history books.

What will stop these wars is world trade. The major powers in this world today depend on each other economically as never before. For instance China and the US will never go to war with each other because of all the money both countries have tied up in each other. We will always find ways to work out our differences.

The second development that I think will contribute to world peace is cheap unlimited power in Nuclear Fusion technology. This may be 20 years away but when it come, and i believe it will, there will be little need to depend on or take by force fossil fuels.

Not at all. The Family, in particular, has been pushing for world domination, and was disappointed with Bush for stopping at Iraq and Afghanistan.

Where have I ever sought to silence you?

Your "instructions" for truckinslave to "crawl back to" where he "belongs" is an attempt to silence an opinion different from your own. Your admonition is quite hypocritical, as I didn't attempt to stop the voicing of your opinion, as you did him.
