meh..... the question is.... does Ebeneezer Scrooge have the right to make his employees work on Christmas.....?

Or does a Muslim Dr. have the "right" to refuse treatment to a Jew?

Or does a bigot get to abuse people for any reason they dream up and call it faith?

Already asked and answered.

A muslim doctor can refuse to treat a jew. He will then face sanction.

Does a corp. founded by a scientologist get to deny employees access to mental health treatment?

Why should business have to cover contraceptives at all? Why should business have to cover any health care expenses?

Because single payer didn't pass. Yet.

So, there is little to no responsibility on the actual care receiver to pay?

The very point of insurance is... why the fuck even bother?

The point of insurance is to pool costs among a group so that each individual isn't paying as much as if he/she was paying for it completely out of pocket. But, that doesn't answer the question. Doesn't the care receiver have a responsibility to pay for the insurance?

Absolutely not.

But, it's not access to contraceptives that's at risk here. It's who is paying for those contraceptives. Your example would have been more germane if you had asked, "Does a corp. founded by a scientologist get to forego paying for employee's mental health treatments?"

Accordingly, that answer is "yes."
