Positive reinforcement or to borrow from another thread, picking up after my dog. 
Or you can tie her and leave a belt in front of her. Leave her for awhile and put belt away without using it.

If you want to be truly cruel, tie her up in the bathroom so she can go anywhere but can't really leave it. Whip her when you want to remind her that you are still there but only a single lash. I have done this with a past slave of mine and after a weekend of it she didn't want to upset me, the punishment and sexual teasing was unbearable, her words.

The hand writing part I see as punishment, the thought of kneeling in the uncooked rice does not phase me in the slightest so I really can't see myself using that as a punishment.

Did you ever think about talking to her to find out why she misbehaves? Personally, I abhor being punished.. it means I've fucked up something, usually because I was thoughtless and/or unfocused for some reason. Find out the reason and maybe you won't need punishment to teach a lesson. Then the two of you can engage in pain because you enjoy it rather than because there's a problem.

I do disagree with those who have said to ignore her. Ignoring something won't make the underlying issues go away. Bringing them out into the light of day seems to be much more productive and ignoring her means that 'you' are also being punished by not having the access to your slave.

If and when punishment is called for, I'm a firm believer in letting the punishment fit the crime .. and the object is to get the behavior to change, not make a consequence so memorable that the crime is forgotten. I've found that works best for me are not punishments which I remember, but punishments which make me think about my crime, why it was wrong and what steps I can, personally, take to prevent them from being repeated.

Have you shown her just how effective a single tail cab be atimprinting manners and class in some trashy slut. Dayummmm, I just luv 'em, want more of 'em, but, I find the majority of them lacking in stamina and resolve when they stand for Me.
  Send her to Sin City for a week or so and I'm fairlyy confidient that she could be included in some creative play, but, I don't want to hear any snivelin' if she decides to extend her visit and embrace more of My Magnifience, electrical, OB/GYN/PROCTO, clips clamps, canes and pain while she's indulged as a wet and wonderful lil' gal. lol

I do think ignoring would be the best way to go. I know for me that would hurt much more then any pain he might inflict on me.


It works best at a play party where she hears all the activity behind her but cannot see it, and all her friends can see her and know she somehow pissed me, err, her Dominant, off in public.

Positive reinforcement has always seemed to work the best for us.  We let a slave know that play is something that is earned or a reward, not something that can be expected.  As we happen to enjoy masochism on the part of our slave, we do not use corporal punishment as a negative reinforcement.  Usually just letting one know we are disappointed is correction enough.  On the rare occasion we have had to do something a little stronger, the use of cornertime or being denied a privilege (such as accompanying us to a public function) got the point across.

unownedredhead This slave should be able to ask her Master for the whip. Honestly, in her experience, the whip can only be a reward, or something shared for the sake of mutual enjoyment. If she is disobeying to be whipped, that habit should be destroyed. After all she would continue to do so.

Wouldn't it best in both their cases to be able to simply ask for the whippings, instead of disobey the rules for them? Would provide less headaches all around.

What you are inferring is that he shall give into her desires, in which case, one has to ask, who truely is the Dominant in the relationship.

Personally...I agree with erin and Celeste.  Why would a serious submissive 'disobey'?  I doubt it would ever be on purpose; so wouldn't a 'sit down conversation' be in order?  As far as a brat 'insisting' on a beating; I never much approved of topping from the bottom.  I agree with Slipstreme; tell her to ask like a grown-up!
 
And...unownedredhead; I think many DO 'get it'...but they 'get' The Power Exchange not brats who go off the deep-end in hopes of play.  Bah!

But in all seriousness, there is "good pain" and "bad pain"; a whip is but one implement in the arsenal of torture, which in of itself is never enjoyable when delivered in high enough quantity and force. If a slave displeases me enough, I have been known to use needle nose pliers and dental extractors in conjunction to extend the tongue fully, whereupon it may be cut along its length with a blade. After, she is to slosh lemon juice around in her mouth for an hour. Usually an excellent deterrent, especially to back talking.

Industrial strength clothespins (with teeth) placed directly upon the clitoris and labia for thirty minutes to an hour elicit a level of pain that is often considered infernal.


Edited to add: A horse crop struck hard to the bottom of the feet creates a form of pain that is unusual and difficult to reroute into pleasure, or so said an older, self-avowed masochist I once had the pleasure of enjoying for the evening.
