The thread's source material is just....ugly. How does one come to this level of thinking? How deeply does one have to lack common sense to arrive at the idea of dumping these remains into a landfill? And after telling the families these remains would be given the same dignity as any other fallen soldier? Its just honestly disgusting and insulting to the nation! Unfortunately there is no crime against this process. Regardless of just how unethical this is, no crime was done. Just so sad.....

It looks to me, like some people are seriously taking advantage of the more relaxed moderation in this forum. Harassing members is still on the list of things I will ban for, so please, tone it down. Adults should have the right to speak like adults, but when it results in spilling your gut in all the glory, I may have to reconsider a few things. Less moderation does not mean a free for all. I'd appreciate some self moderation.

you all to realize these were NOT BODIES, but hands, feet, toes, fingers, arms, legs, etc etc etc, right? that the actual BODIES of these people were buried in a respectful manner?? you make it sound like there are 274 families who didn't get a funeral/flag because their loved one's bodies were cremated then disposed of... while it may be what most would consider BAD TASTED, my question is, what SHOULD they have done with leftover toes? and to make out like they HID IT is exaggerating what was more likely, them saying "ok we got these body parts, what we gonna do with them" "well lets just burn em and put em in the trash but let's not go around BRAGGIN ABOUT IT" and YES I do think some senator demanding they track down EVERY LOST TOE is a bit silly!

Note that only nutsacker regimes did this, and they are not doing it now, another reason you are not going to see a nutsacker president. I don't know that anyone is amazed by the thought process of progressives, we don't know any, but nobody is amazed by the thought processes of nutsackers, in that they clearly and constantly never exhibit them.

I am sure they will handle a single payer system with the same skill that they now apply to the va system and everyone will get the same level of care. well, again, there are no progressives, and I know there is an innumeracy and a hallucination built into nutsackers weltanschauung, but the current administration has been in existance some 5+ years, so in order to compare and contrast administrations, and fraudulent nutsacker claims and propaganda, we simply point out that other nutsacker administrations were easily more corrupt and incompetent than any democratic administrations. Their argument that even a stopped clock is right twice a day is cold comfort if we desire to know continuously if we are improving out lot, and their clock has never been right, not even once a day.
