Except for the fact that it is not true. You have yet to produce one court case where a less than lethal shot got the shooter convicted for anything.

When you document your CIA assassins I'll document the gang bangers home invasions.

The High Standard HDM is a semiautomatic pistol equipped with an integral sound suppressor.[1] Based on the High Standard HD model target pistol, it was adopted by the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during World War II. OSS head Bill Donovan demonstrated the pistol to President Franklin Roosevelt inside the Oval Office. Because of legal concerns during wartime, full-metal-jacketed .22 LR rounds were developed for this pistol.
It is still found in United States inventories, including that of the CIA, United States Marines, and Special Forces

Oh...and...the Air Force still gives pilots .22's. It's not to shoot bad guys while escaping and evading. It's to provide food while escaping and evading.

I did not mention the air farce. I mentioned gary powers who worked for the cia...and got hosed by the air farce when he was released from prison. His weapon was silenced...you do not need a silenced pistol to hunt rabits.

So as not to attract attention while you are making your way back to freindly territory.

Whether Gary Powers was flying for the Air Force or the CIA is moot. He was an Air Force pilot. Didn't you read his book? The OSS developed, and dropped into occupied countries, several weapons systems, including a crappy single shot .45, with the intention that they be used once in order to capture a more fitting weapon to actually use. And, if you are escaping and evading, a suppressed (not silenced, there is no such thing as a silencer) method of harvesting rabbits is useful. You assume it's for assassination and show no evidence here that was the intention.

I don't believe you can double tap a one inch moving target at 25 yards in a third of a second, I promise I won't call you a liar.

Your foot is not moving when it is planted for that third of a second.

And as pointed out it takes a thrid of a second for it to register where the foot is, thus by the time you can fire it isn't there anymore.

A golf ball is never moving when a golfer swings at it. It bigger than a toe. Few people hit it well standing right next to it. I tell you what, we'll put a golf ball at 25 yards, yell go, then I'll pull a string attached to the golf ball and you shoot. I'll give you a whole box of ammunition, 50 rounds. If you hit the golf ball once I'll give you $1,000. If you don't, you buy me a donut.

I like McDonald's.
My kids love McDonald's.
We back McDonald's.
Now if you all don't like McDonald's. Go live on an island or say no.
Don't be concerned about our arteries.

Recent studies have shown clogged arteries have nothing to do with what you eat. It's hereditary.

http://bearingarms.com/shoot-to-wound-vs-shoot-to-stop-vs-shoot-to-kill/

Further, if you are foolish enough to state out loud that you only shot to wound, it opens the door to the State arguing that you lacked the good faith subjective fear of imminent death or grave bodily harm necessary to justify your use of deadly force. After all, if you’d feared imminent death, you’d have shot to neutralize the threat decisively, not just make him more angry with a pistol-caliber bullet wound to an extremity. If there was no genuine fear of death or grave bodily harm, your use of deadly force was not lawful self-defense, and off to jail you go.

Air farce aircrews do not carry silenced pistols. Garry powers was in the cia at the time of his capture not the air farce.

Welcome.

http://chriskresser.com/the-diet-heart-myth-cholesterol-and-saturated-fat-are-not-the-enemy/

In this 4-part series, I’m going to debunk 3 common myths about heart disease:
Eating cholesterol and saturated fat raises cholesterol levels in the blood.
High cholesterol in the blood is the cause of heart disease.
Statins save lives in healthy people without heart disease.

I placed a cite above for cinnamongirl. I didn't do it for you. Your inanity is not worth effort. It was in all the news recently. If you didn't read it, pushing your nose into it won't help.

With regards to the mcdonalds analogy from butch ....mcdonads also doesnt deprive parents of their childrens lives, it doesnt kill their siblings, aunts and uncles parents, etc within minutes. And im not a mcdonalds fanatic.

I don't care for McDonald's but it is a matter of preference.
I was simply pointing out that the dangers from fast food, whatever they may be is far more previlant than the danger from firearms. You do have to admit that fast food contributes to being overweight. However that is based on the common sense of the customer.

It is the preservatives, processing and overall lack of nutrition and empty calories in fast foods that I object to.

I do say no, to it. Although I didn't always. I quit eating fast foods a few years ago when I was diagnosed diabetic.
After not eating there for over a year, I tried a hamburger. It tasted awful!

I may not agree with your food choices, but I definitely will not lobby to have your right to eat disgusting food taken from you!

Do you mean in this section or the forum, overall?

If it's the end, two things:

1) I'm glad we made it through to the finale on The Walking Dead thread.

2) If this is it, so long folks, and thanks for all the fish.
