Come on now, at 3am a person with a metal cylinder keeps coming after you warn them repeatedly you have every reason to believe that he isn't there from Publishers Clearinghouse, that he does, in fact mean to take you apart.

But that is not what happened is it rambo?

It is what the police and the prosecutor said happened, they might possibly know a little more about it than you do.

No where did the shooter warn the alshiemers guy. At no time was the shooter in danger. But then the shooter was politically connected. He was tossed out of the sandbox because he got a tummy ache from being skierd of the ebil muslims.

If you aren't fighting for your life (or serious injury which is pretty much the same because once you are seriouly injured it is up to them if you live or die) you shouldn't be shooting in the first place.

Jesus you are phoquing stupid.

Maybe just this once you could splain exactly why that is stupid.

Because I said it, and he thinks that somehow his opinion matters to me.

Keep telling yourself how importnt you are and perhaps one day you will believe it.

Far from it, I was saying that you think your opinion matters, to me or anyone else.
Don't you realize you are comedy relief?

Do some research, he warned him three times.

I remember being on that thread. I sat here and said if the 'guy' stood about 6'3" and I saw him on my property in the darkness... AFTER ALL OF THE STALKING STUFF??? Yep. Shoot.

So once again you think you know more than the experts, more than the people who were there, more than the people who saw the actual evidence.
Big surprise.

So you're saying that this forum has been what followed you to three states and is causing you distress in a stalker like manner?

No, but I am saying that forums like this can assist in such things. Do you know who you rub elbows with?

Oh, and while I mean you no offense, I would ask you not to address me in such forms as a "stalker-LIKE" manner.

Might be fun.

I think that she was confused and thought that maybe these forums were the stalker (hence stalker-like) instead of an actual (single)person being the stalker.

Please do not say that the forums are your stalker. Although if it turned out to be Arpig, for some reason I would not be surprised.

Tha was not the case though. I do appreciate your position and I have commented on how I would deal with it.
The shooter in this case was safe inside his house and armed and there was no prior stalking.

Thompson,

I am often "out of place" on threads like this.

I don't know what to tell you or anyone else. I've already done this where 'the' stalker has traveled great distances to do this.

I *wish* I could shoot like you. I can't and I'm not going to risk it.

You clearly are thinking of the wrong case as the shooting took place outside in the yard.

All of his gun post seem to echo rambo...and that is just so phoquing stupid.

So you should go ahead and shoot if you are not in serious danger?

Why do you make shit up. I never said that you said that. You are of the mistaken belief that killing a person is the only way to remove a threat. That is just soooo phoquing stupid.

And I sound like Rambo?

Yup

I said you shouldn't use a firearm unless you have to and you pretend that means I advocate shooting everyone, who is making up things now?

A classic case of pot to kettle. He's John Wayne, Dirty Harry and Rambo all rolled into one.

Where the shooter chose to go and eschew the safety of his fortified position.

Personally, I remember the thread quite well. I think a couple of posters here lost respect for me because I did say I would shoot. Yeah, I'd have been wrong for doing it due to the fact that the gentleman was very sick, didn't know better, and really was more or less lost.

The whole thing was kind of sad, really. At the same time, the term "safe" is relative.

If the shooter had known that he might well have gone to jail, but he had no way of knowing.

I just used my limited google-fu to double check that case so I was being accurate.

That shooting happened in the fall of 2013. Charges weren't pressed against the shooter because of some key things that pointed to self defense. One being the ill man had already tried gaining entry by attempting to open the front door and the "in the yard" designation was interpreted as the man going toward the back of the house to attempt entry again.

I think I was in the minority opinion on that thread because I've run the "how long would it take cops to get here" scenarios in my head. Those aren't always optimistic thoughts.

You can see the police station from my front yard and response time to a 911 call is 10-15 minutes.

Why do they keep bringing up cases that the courts have long since settled and try to proove the courts were wrong?

My memory is completly accurate. if not the shooter would be in jail he isn't,ergo I am correct.
And I didn't bring up the case someone else brought up a long closed and decided case making a weak claim about another of my positions.
