She was speaking specifically of Doms, and the odds are greater they would have sexual hang-ups in this area or expect b.j.'s-on-demand and to get theirs without any consideration for their (sub) sexual partner.

It also depends on how women screen their potential partners. Cunnilingus is right up there in my top 2. First is, he has to have a working dick, of course, then for his tongue to work.

Due to how this line of discussion was getting off topic, I decided not to pursue this matter further.

D/s is a power exchange dynamic where the Dominant has authority over the submissive. Furthermore, Force/=Power.

Force and control aren't the same variable. Power and control go together, power and force do not. Force is unnecessary to achieve control, and the use of force does not guarantee control. In fact, it can result in the opposite effect.

At the core of functional interdependent (as opposed to a dysfunctional co-dependent) D/s is a certain intensity of devotion to commit to one another. Such devotion does not require the use of force.
This is why ownership is fundamental to a D/s dynamic--the two belong to one another like two sides of the same coin. You can't have true symbiosis or a symbiatic union without it.

Perhaps I should clarify, speaking only for myself. After all, it is possible it's more of a me, myself & I thing (although I've had tête-à-têtes with a couple of Domme friends about this same issue).

If and when I am "forcing" or *making* my sub do as I wish, within our pre-established limits, I want it to be because that's what I am in the mood for.
NOT because he's waiting around for me to "force" him to do things or be constantly ordered about, which gets old really fast.

Why should a submissive male behave incompetently as a lover compared to his vanilla counterpart?

Some women might have had a bad experience or an unpleasant memory with an immature, unwilling, or less-than-enthusiastic partner in the distant past.

thompsonx - No, you are confusing emotional and physical abuse with dominance. Submission does not appear in response to a threat... it comes from within. Unless you are talking about an abuse victim's response to physical abuse... but that's not D/s submission. That's temporary submission as a life-prolonging strategy until they can flee.

There's something going on here (in BDSM) that obviously eludes you. I'd suggest doing some reading, because it's worth understanding.
