I take issue with the story as there are no really good (read top medical care) hospitals in cardiology for kids in CA That specialize in the condition the "kid" has. All of them are on the east coast....

I don't have to believe what's on the internet. I used to work at Kapi`olani Medical Center for Women and Children. They routinely fly in pediatric cardiac surgeons (most often from the west coast) to perform surgery on site, rather than send patients to the mainland. Given the financial state of many of the islands' residents it would likely mean a separation of parent and child if they were to fly to the mainland for surgery. Per the hospital's own web site... The success of this model of care is evident in the program's outcomes, which are comparable to the nation's leading pediatric cardiac centers.

Obviously since I'm still messaging and talking to people CM hasn't gone anywhere. A new name doesn't mean it is over. TBH from my point of view it sounds like there are issues on both sides. If the stuff about the daughter is true then of course I wish her the best but there are always two sides to every story. I don't care if the name changes as long as the premise stays the same. Yeah that included the crap on here, which is a part of this place too. 9 year vet of the CM drag. May there be another 9 years and these two work their shit out.
