Three years ago, this slave would have said that she was a person first and a slave second. Now though, I would have to say that they are of equal parts, inseperable, and without distinction.
Personally, and this is just my own opinion, I believe that when we try to seperate the two, and place more emphasis on one; that we lost part of the other.
