As we age and our abilities change, it's easy to mourn the loss of our youthful bodies. This thread is for those of us wanting to express appreciation for the parts that still work! I'll start: Thank you to my knees. As many miles as I've put on them through hauling my ass around dancing, swimming, hiking, biking and twisting into a pretzel, they remain relatively painless and strong. Thanks to my eyes. At 55, I can still get away with no glasses if absolutely necessary. Thank you to my feet. My arches haven't fallen and they still schlep me around where I need to go. Thank you to my hands. Though they're really stiff in the morning, by mid-day warm up they can play my musical instruments, brush the kitties and still twist the lid off a jar.
