Complementing you on your appearance takes a grotesque sense of entitlement ?

I am a human being.  And a dominant.  And your equal at minimum,  given where you are choosing to post.

Stopping in mid-post during a discussion of a serious issue to objectify me, and use your unsolicited opinion of my appearance as an opportunity tell me how to properly behave?  Is rude, obnoxious, sexist behavior.

I'm going to ignore the rest of your petty, vindictive insults and sniping.  I've done and said nothing to justify your misogyny; it is a pre-existing condition.  And I have no interest in having the terms of Proper Feminism or womanhood in general dictated to me by a male supremacist.  If this is how you "fought" for equality in your workplace, small wonder it remains male-dominated; with friends like Goreans, women don't need enemies.

A dominant huh? Good for you.

I couldn't help but notice that not a page after you complained about being objectified, you objectified someone else. Your own tone, and language, betrayed the very point you were hoping to make with your victim mentality. For the record though when you presume through no association what-so-ever to address a man as "handsome", after making a big whine about someone doing similar to you, you really do make yourself and your arguments look even more petty and childish.

You aren't Aswad's equal. Mine maybe, but by my estimation there are few men on these boards who are his equal either. Presumption again.

Acting like an impetuous precocious schoolgirl doesn't make you the equal of anyone - not even of your female peers who posted on this thread with thought and consideration. You claim to be a dominant. Show it.

Fucking hell. Do you think that only men commit vile crimes? Try looking up how many Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome women kill/almost kill their own offspring. Send their kids out to prostitute themselves for money for drugs, alcohol. Leave newborn babies in toilet blocks to die because they won't face the consequences and responsibilities of having unprotected sex. They COULD dump the babies near a hospital or a police station and call someone, but they don't. They leave them to die.

I work with people who have mental health issues and substance abuse problems. Half of them are women. I SEE what horrors these women are capable of. I see the effect it has on their kids.

Men are NOT the enemy. You can't tell men that they are useless and no good and unneeded, blah, blah, blah. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to rant about half the population of the earth.

Of course men and women are different. But what each brings to the table of life is precious and irreplacable. Of course there are ratbag males, but there are ratbag females.

Oh, and by the way, I have always found Aswad to be the least sexist man on here. He has a beautiful girl that he talks about with love and respect.  He is NO mysogynist.

Somehow; i have the feeling that you would be upset if after you made a statement on an issue, i (or any other man), started of their statement with "sorry, cutie".  It's dismissive and rude, and you know it.

Well, that would depend on the man and depend on the issue.  If we were both speaking as Southerners who were on friendly terms, who had exchanged friendlier messages before, I might be a lot more understanding.  ;)  Especially if the exact same man had complimented my appearance on previous occasions and I had said I appreciated the compliment at the time--this would be slightly different than having a complete stranger who had never spoken to me before not only calling me "cutie" but telling me that I should live up to my looks by behaving as he dictates.

Regardless, though, if you feel I was dismissing you or addressing you rudely, I apologize.  I thought we were on more friendly terms, but clearly I was mistaken.  I won't make that mistake again.

As for what offends your sensibilities--I'm sorry you choose to take offense to what I post, and NOT to take offense to what others post.  I have no control over your double standard, however.  Apparently, male posters can make hateful, directly personal attacks on women here without offending your sensibilities, but women cannot react to those posts without being offensive.

Yeah...as with any double standard, I'm not real likely to agree with that any time soon.  Silly femme dommes!

Nope.  Nor did I ever say so.  I'm quite familiar with the female potential for violence.  Have written quite extensively on female war criminals and serial killers.

Never said they were.  But patriarchy is most certainly an enemy to me.

Actually, you may not have noticed, but the OP was not addressing men in her post.  She also clearly prefaced her remarks by saying that she was in great physical and emotional pain at the time, and having dark thoughts and feelings.  Her question was not "Should all men be caged?" in reality.  Her question was "Does anyone else ever have these thoughts and feelings I am having?"

As a mental health professional, you of all people should be able to tell the difference between asking if someone understands your feelings versus expressing an intention or desire to act on those feelings, or a sadistic fantasy based on them.

I will also point out, for the record, that the OP was a dominant woman and this is a forum for female dominants and sadists.  A fantasy about men enslaved and locked in cages is HARDLY the end of the world in such a venue!

Oh, and by the way, I have always found Aswad to be the least sexist man on here. He has a beautiful girl that he talks about with love and respect.  He is NO mysogynist.

Well, that's your opinion. Our mileage varies when we encounter people on the Internet, obviously, and the fact that a man can treat submissive women decently is no sign that he can treat dominant women decently, at least in in my experience.

Since you speak well of him, I will try to take your word on the subject.  Perhaps he is a decent fellow when you catch him on a better thread!

Well, we only really need men if we with to keep repopulating the earth. I guess they could be kept in cages until they are needed briefly.

hehee now jokes aside, I agree with almost all of the anti-boy opintions stated so far. But even being an active man-hating Dyke, I just have to point out something that I think has been overlooked.

Women are just as much eachothers' enemy as men are. Women view other women as their competition for men. And thus we treat eachother just as poorly as men treat women. Women need to stick up for eachother and support eachother. I just don't see this happening enough.

The other thing that women need to realize is their value. I am so annoyed by the general lack of self esteem that women carry around Everywhere! I firmly believe that everyone is exactly where they want to be. Now, women are such wonderful, powerful, intelligent, and beautiful creatures. But they need to realize this! This is a larger problem than men are to us.

Hmm, this thread seems to be spreading faster than fireweed, I try to read it an lo and behold, a new page appears while Im half way down the one before.

Bunch of arse.

And quite frankly, I dont need anyone. Im not adverse to PEOPLE, but aside from a generic "are you a bawbag?": classification I dont give a shit about anything else.

some people are good, some people are bad and life goes on.

you might!

reminded me of when my eldest was little. He had a concept of "mommy", but no distinct concept of "daddy", so I was "mommydaddy" for a while, a sort of extension to his mom!

there for it is valid...they need males to be fetilized..even if it is just a sperm source

Not really... they need to harvest a stockpile of sperm to get started, then research how to clone it without degenerating the telomeres... the bit about raising men to sperm-producing age (say one man per 100 million women fertilized), harvesting and then killing them off is just a backup plan in case the research takes too long, which seems unlikely.

Long term, both genders are unneccessary.

Health,
al-Aswad.

yes

though the comment was meant in humour to try to take some heat out of the thread - though its only gotten hotter here over the last page or so.

Perspective, people - this started off TWO YEARS AGO because one highly respected (by me anyway) lady was having a bad day and wanted a gripe and someone to listen to it. She posted it here - not in Off Topic as a serious sociological comment and not in the other boards, where she does participate too, but here, where she was more assured of other ladies listening and fewer men.

Since then that whole Mars and Venus thing has led to pages and pages of pointless bickering, because neither side seems to get what the other is saying. Yes, each side can read and comprehend the other's words, but not the meaning.

Guys - yes youre wanted, yes youre needed; of course we're going to gripe about you now and then - you do after all, all do some inexplicable things and some of you do some terrible things, but we know youre not all bad. But the gals do need to let off steam from time to time - perhaps its best to do it somewhere private, out of your way.

And gals, what they want and need just as much is your approval - however grown up they are, and it hurts them when theyre told theyre all the same as the worst of them, and then they'll live up to that name because they'll get angry at the apparent rejection.

I don't know about anyone else, but I prefer easier access to my men than having them in a cage ... I mean, what if I lost the key, or for some reason the lock wouldn't open, or the door of the cage got stuck?  nope - no men in cages around here (although I might restrict them to the house )
