According to some, I am micromanaged and have been told such.  According to others, I am not micromanaged.  According to Master and me, I am simply managed.  Whatever it is called, it works.

wow, of all of the pretentious "Your Kink is NOT ok" lines this slave has ever read this one has to take the prize for the most fucked up.

some folks have a "control" kink/fetish, with a wide variety of triggers.  requiring their sub/slave/servant to ask permission for even basic priviledges like using the furniture or the toilet can be a huge turn on.

for this slave, those that serve by submitting to the things that their Dom/me/Master/Mistress gets titilated by, be it watersports, nipple clamps or asking permission to pee is proper service, far from a reason to negate someone's intellect and suggest they shouldn't be allowed to live.

Bravo to you, beth.  While I agree it was a fucked up thing to say, statements like that do shine a spotlight on ignorance.

When I am with Master, I ask to relieve myself, because I want to be sure it is a good time to leave the room.  What if he were just about to request something of me?  It is no skin off my nose to ask, "May I use the bathroom a moment?"  I would have never thought being considerate was a "stupid" trait.

Nodding, there are practical reasons for this too, like ettiquette. It's not always about some guy with a stiffy-looking for a power thrill to get his rocks off.

I'm constanty amazed at how many seem to link the use of control and management strictly to sex. But it's more about thier minds being in the gutter-than ours.

No, it's actually called sarcasm. But, anyway. He's entitled to his opinion regarding what he enjoys, just like you are. Since you don't know him (or me, for that matter) you don't realize that he really doesn't care what someone else does in their bedroom. He speaks only for our relationship and what we engage in.

I think it's funny that those that tout the not being tolerant of others kinks, don't tolerate other's opinions. I can think something is the stupidest thing on earth, and still say "but, if it floats your boat, go for it". Which is essentially, what I did.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the definition of 'micromanagement' in the handbook- 'The Only Way to Live a D/s-M/s Lifestyle' written by the great author I. B. Godagain-
......... therefore, I cannot answer appropriately!

it's not the opinion, it's the delivery...this slave thinks it is sad that when one points out  how fucked up some little sarcastic anecdote reads to some folk, the author turns it into one believing their basic opinion on the entire issue being discussed isn't valid or tolerable.

How stupid does he tolerate to let you serve and live?
...Given in the same sarcastic spirit.

And, you know what? I can respect that you didn't like the delivery and all you had to do was say that you thought it missed the mark. I don't expect everyone to get my sense of humour, especially when delivered through a medium where you can't hear inflection or see facial expressions.

Um, isn't it just another opinion being expressed?  Or does that only work selectively?  I for one believe in "It's all in the delivery" (I say that a lot at work) as I tend to think certain expressions of sarcasm are insulting.  If not intended to be insulting then perhaps such sarcasm sends a message unintended and communicates things about the person sending it which may or may not be desired.

I completely dislike micromanagement in my own life because my family does not know that I am submissive, and it would be a very_bad_thing for them to find out..

However, I do believe that were family not an issue I would still be very unhappy with it on certain levels; for instance, my body knows what it needs to eat and I feed it such. However, were I to be asked relinquish control over portions of my wardrobe, that would be very sensual. Odd mix, ne?

Yup, and  I can respect that it's her opinion, as I said.
