People have all different sorts of opinions about anal, different levels of interest, of course. But the OP did mention porn, and I figured that should be addressed. The way porn depicts anal is not, generally speaking, very accurate.

Porn usually just goes straight to the dude shoving it in there, and skip showing the part where she gets fingered/stretched and lubed up. Also, they often show the guy switching back and forth between orifices, which when anal is involved is a great way to get an infection from the ecoli bacteria that live in your rectum. I'm honestly not sure how porn movies get around that (some kind of disinfecting enema?) or if it's just a risk the actresses take to make more $$$.

I don't do anal play/sex much, but it can be fun and sexy if it's warmed up to. I wouldn't want to do it every time, but I wouldn't want to never do it again, either.

I imagine they do a lot of fingering/stretching beforehand. And they probably do a lot of anal scenes and use huge butt plugs and stuff, which you'd need to build up to.

As far as bodily functions, I imagine after a certain point, in terms of size/frequency/intensity of stretching the sphincter beyond normal poop size, it's probably going to cause some lasting looseness. I've heard that prolapse (where the anus gets so loose and fucked up that the rectum falls out) fetish porn is actually a thing (??!! [:'(] ), and those ladies have got to have problems in that department. Probably also the surgery department.
