You don't need to tell me, Exiled. I'm from the North East of England and not a sentence goes by without someone being on the receiving end of 'knacker'.
In the event you're looking to broaden your diction horizons to include the Northern most part of England I can send you all sorts.
Anyway, reasonable expectations: 'need' seems a bit extreme to me, but then it would need to be defined. Needy or some innate need.
Probably the former because life will go on.
