Done trolling for a while?

Well good. Perhaps we can get back to discussing the topic for a while...

Obama: You Can't Get Ebola 'Sitting Next to Someone on a Bus;' CDC: 'Avoid Public Transportation'

did you actually read what the "story" says??

The CDC, however, is advising aid workers and others who travel to countries currently experiencing Ebola outbreaks to “avoid public transportation” if they develop a fever or experience other Ebola-like symptoms while on their trip.
As they have more "opportunity" to be exposed to the virus because of their work than some regular joe on a bus( without symptoms)...STAY Off the buses, cos you MIGHT infect someone else
Bloody Idiots scaremongering.

Key Question: How Did Dallas Worker Contract Ebola?

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM/AP) - How did it happen?

That’s the big question as U.S. health officials investigate the case of a Dallas health worker who treated an Ebola patient and ended up with the disease herself.

These are professionals and this is the United States, where the best conditions and protective gear are available, unlike in West Africa, where the Ebola epidemic is raging in much poorer conditions.

The health worker wore protective gear while having extensive contact with Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who died Wednesday of Ebola at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.

Officials say she has not been able to pinpoint any breach in infection control protocols, although there apparently was a breach, they say.

Experience shows that health workers can safely care for Ebola patients, “but we also know that it’s hard and that even a single breach can result in contamination,” Dr. Thomas Frieden, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

The situation also raises fresh concerns about whether any U.S. hospital can safely handle Ebola patients, as health officials have insisted is possible....

But you cannot possibly catch it on public transportation?

You make this lowlife personal attack out of the blue why, lucy. Simply because I dare to question Obamas specialized medical expertise on the Ebola virus?

You're really are a piece of work, did you know that?

your comprehension is the problem, not the "news report", I showed what the CDC actually said, and what the prez actually said.AND the truth. The worker didnt get it on a bus, there was a breach in protocol, and considering the hospitals handling of Duncan, doesnt surprise me that it was breached.
You just pointed to the " faux " facts and made something up.
As usual.

I find it fascinating that more and more nutsuckers, by their hysteria over Ebola, are secretly Evolutionists.

You can't stand anyone arguing with you, which is why you go insane and launch your trollish attacks

Youre a trog and a troll

There was no breach of protocol that they can find, they are rethinking what they know about this new virus

Asking themselves if any hospital can handle the virus safely

Yet the inept-motherfucker-in-chief thinks he knows everything there is to know about Ebola, and he preaches his ignorance as if it is fact

LOL that is why the head of the CDC said in a news conference that it IS a breach in protocol...video....of CDC head just yesterday

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nl1VBtTwJoA

now where is your information that they are rethinking transmission and ability to handle it?

because theres hundred of pages citing a breach
https://news.google.com/news?ncl=dkI1gNF367JhBWMHtuWYr97vteJlM&q=%22We+don%27t+know+what+occurred+in+the+care+of+the+index+patient,+the+original+patient,+in+Dallas,+but+at+some+point+there+was+a+breach+in+protocol,+and+that+breach+in+protocol+resulted+in+this+infection,%22+CDC+director+Dr.+Thomas+Frieden+told+a+news+conference.&lr=English&hl=en&sa=X&ei=Itg7VO7AGsLIsATcg4CoCg&ved=0CCkQqgIwAA

http://www.wfaa.com/story/news/health/2014/10/13/second-ebola-patient-care-protocol-breach-nurse-risk/17162505/
"We don't know what occurred in the care of the index patient, the original patient in Dallas," said CDC director Tom Frieden, "but at some point there was a breach in protocol. And that breach resulted in this infection."

Frieden is launching a federal investigation.

Investigators are looking at the protective gear itself, specifically at how the worker's contaminated equipment including gowns and masks are removed, as the source of the safety breach.

Investigators are also considering whether two high-risk procedures taken in desperation might have jeopardized those trying save Thomas Duncan's life.

"The two areas that we will be looking particularly closely is the performance of kidney dialysis and respiratory intubation," said Frieden, "Both of those procedures may spread contaminated materials and are considered high-risk procedures."

Federal health officials worry now that other healthcare workers may have been exposed by the same or a a similar safety breach. All healthcare workers who have had contact with Thomas Duncan, and now the nurse who contracted Ebola, will be more closely monitored, officials say.

Forty-eight other people are currently being monitored, but so far have shown no sign of infection.

so where are your links to prove your point ????
put up or shut up

Hey dumbass, did you not bother reading the link I posted in the other thread? The nurses weren't in full protective gear until the test confirmed Duncan had Ebola  3 days after he was admitted. That was well after they were exposed to his bodily fluids. That is how they contracted the virus. It was a very basic break down in the protocol and has nothing to do with whether anyone else might catch the disease.

So... Genius... What is your point. You think that everyone using public transportation always wears full protective gear?

There is a surprising number of gun nuts that belief and have 'faith' that their firearms will protect them from any and all possible harm. This includes all the stuff that a gun can not possibly protect against; like Ebola.

And there are gun nuts that do take public transportation....

Really and I am sure you are going to show us links where anyone suggested that a gun could protect you from ebola. Otherwise people might start thinking you just post whatever bullshit pops into your head at the moment. Although after thinking about it for a minute my guess is it's too late to stop that.
