Tell Scientology that you really want to join but have no money. I think they make you sign a Billion year contract and then you'll probably find yourself trapped in a compound somewhere.

That might be the closest you can get.

The legal distinction is that nobody can be forced to or voluntarily sign away, their legal and constitutional rights except to one institution...the military. There you have it.

Status: offline 		I've always said the best well trained contractual slaves are in the military ... course I also get death threats when I say that. Seems most military folk don't appreciate being called slaves. No sense of humor

No. But stop and think about it for a moment. The only reason you are asking is that you anticipate wanting out of the arrangement, and in the present moment, you are enticed by the notion of not having that option.

Realize that the fantasy of not being able to escape from a situation you do not want to be in is much more arousing than the reality would be.

Tell yourself that you do not have the option to leave, and challenge yourself to stay. That should be arousing enough... until it isn't, and then you are free to go.

You have to join the Sea Org to get the billion year contract. I've read a number of great books exposing Scientology.

3. Intention of legal consequences

Status: offline 		You can't get legal guardianship unless you're proved incompetent. At which point, you are not capable of signing a contract and the guardianship will be appointed to a family member.

And in many states it is impossible to prove someone is incompetent and needs a legal guardian because of the challenges to the appointee.

Status: offline 		I'm not sure if you're familiar with The Constitution, I didn't check to see if you were in the states, but if you are the 13tg Amendment banned slavery. Does it still happen? Sure there are people illegally sold as slaves all the time. But a legally binding contract on an illegal act will not hold up in court.
