2015 is going to be quite a year for you blokes. I've been sort of watching out of the corner of my eye, although here it is hard to get much news and insight.

Doesn't appear that it will be business as usual, Tories v Labour v Liberals (yes, I see a separation there), you have your own brand of nutsuckers there now, amongst them UKIP, and some other rather extremist groups making moves.

Give us the views there, how much traction are these groups going to get, and will it be enough some cobbled up government combination must be formed? And so on and so forth. (Not that Americans are interested in your socialism chaps, but I guess I am) And since you are our biggest ally what you do is of some interest to thinking Americans.

Lucylastic -> RE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen (11/29/2014 8:23:16 AM)

not living there but immediate family are.
there isnt a bunch among them worth shit, whinging about no mansion taxes but ok with bedroom taxes if you have a spare room.

Trying to privatise the NHS is one of the most agregious,
bloody tories and UKIP, altho labour isnt any better.

More crapitalism at the cost of the working and middle class and blaming the poor for all the ills in the UK, when its money, greed and power that matter, threatening to become the UKUSA. God help them.

just a lil rant cos im not into going into it in any detail.

Awww

The NHS house of cards is imploding

Cant imagine how that could ever happen, being the best system in the history of all creation

(I just cant wait 'til we have that same socialist health care system implosion here)

/sarcasm

mnottertail -> RE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen (11/29/2014 9:05:02 AM)

NHS is not imploding, and Norway is probably a better system. The privatization of NHS there is like the privatization of Social Security here, a bunch of intermitable cockgobbling by the nutsuckers but never gonna happen.

Lucylastic -> RE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen (11/29/2014 9:05:39 AM)

no, its greed and politics thats fucking it up, not that it doesnt work and has done for nigh on 70 years.
The system is flawed, most definitely, but its down to politics, not enough front line staff, funding being misspent and politics trying to make more money, fuck the people.
You wont get a working system ever, the way you are so selfish with your healthcare

Face it, all of Great Britain is crumbling, primarily on account of socialist polices

Keep that upper lip stiff as you go down the sewers though, like a proper girl should

mnottertail -> RE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen (11/29/2014 9:12:04 AM)

Yeah, Britain crumbling? You should compare their balance sheet to ours.

I've been there and whats to pity? Their standard of living is higher than ours, their houses still hold full value and they have a rich and wonderful country and history.

Following directions you read on Vox, perhaps? [8|]

Vox?

Oooh yes. Some very basic things in our political world are coming apart at the seams. Scotland is pulling away and is going to get so many more powers that it will look silly that it'll begin to look like it's all but outside of the UK. An almighty battle over our membership of the EU is looming, too. The two-party system is also falling apart: the duopoly held by Labour and the Conservatives for a century is threadbare. The lib Dems have incurred so many enemies as the junior partner in the Coalition that they can no longer count on being the leading 'alternative party'. The political class as a whole is rock bottom in terms of approval and respect amongst the electorate. The next election will have me hooked on the TV as the results come in. None of the pundits wants to predict the results. Fun stuff!

No more than the USA is crumbling, primarily on account of its extremist Green policies.

If only your fantasies had anything to do with reality, mnot

We could all grow fat and waddle around our mansions doing nothing more than suckling that plump, never ending government teat

Never have to work a day in our lives...

mnottertail -> RE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen (11/29/2014 11:09:46 AM)

I imagine that you as a mental defective having been institutionalized all your life have never worked a day in your life. If only your hallucinations weren't your reality, Tommie.

It's starting to collapse because they (the conservatives) are trying to implement the US healthcare model by privatization through the back door.

Maggie Thatcher started the ball rolling when she introduced private health insurance.
It didn't work too well.
It was way too expensive for Joe Average unless it was part of his job perks.

The NHS isn't collapsing per se, it's the corporate companies raping the system and undermining the fundamental premise of the system and profiteering out of it - just like the US system does.
Greed and profiteering over the health of the people.

Shocking!! [sm=insane.gif]

Vox?

It's low hanging fruit, Lucy. Vox is a new website of talking points for Obamabots and wannabe libs. It's from Ezra Klein. They specialize in telling the Democrat sheep what Republicans think, and what the talking points of the day are. They had a handy guide for how to argue politics at the Thanksgiving dinner table, as an example. You might love it

crazyml -> RE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen (11/29/2014 11:17:53 AM)

Since you have not the smallest fucking clue what "Socialism" actually is, your comments, while deeply entertaining, have no value whatsoever.

The NHS is a fucking paragon compared to your broken system.
