Then why wasn't Dick Cheney charged with a crime when his Chief of Staff Scooter Libby was convicted for revealing a CIA agents identity? Maybe it was so he could stay out of jail to convince Bush to commute Libby's sentence from 30 month to no prison time at all.

Could be because Libby was never convicted of revealing a CIA agents identity

Sorry, he was convicted for lying about exposing the identity of a CIA agent. But why don't you address the real issue? Why wasn't Cheney charged? Your post about a boss being criminally responsible for a subordinate seems to say he should, but you won't say it.

No, Libby may have lied to investigators but as that article points out he wasnt the one who "leaked" Plumes (a desk jockeys) ID

I have given you a link to the complete published timeline but you have yet to get the basic facts straight

The actual "leaker" was Richard Armitage, via columnist Robert Novak.

The five-count indictment of Libby included perjury (two counts), obstruction of justice (one count), and making false statements to federal investigators (two counts). There was, however, no count for disclosing classified information, i.e., Plame's status as a CIA operative.

You gotta be kidding me, by most accounts I am very conservative in my views. The thing is I want actual solutions to problems and have a progressive mind set (which means I value expert opinions.)

You post is kind of insane, as if somewhere in my posting history I advocated to abolish private property and raise tax rates on the wealthy to 90%.

You lack any perspective whatsoever.

To Wit the Conservative Mitt Romney passed health care reform in MASS. The ideas behind that plan came from conservative think tanks. The underpinnings of ACA are all conservative in origin.

Reagan passed immigration reform, he's the patron saint of your movement here in the USA.

One might think the likes of you an Sanity would reposition yourselves after the DISASTER OF THE GWB ADM. Instead, you are actually doubling down on positions that aren't proven to work or solve problems. The whole movement of opposition and obstruction seems to give you a walloping erection.

No link from the IRS to the White House ever found despite the deepest wishes of Republicans and paranoid, Obama-hating, right wing nutters.

Inquiry Into I.R.S. Lapses Shows No Links to White House

An 18-month congressional investigation into the Internal Revenue Service’s mistreatment of conservative political groups seeking tax exemptions failed to show coordination between agency officials and political operatives in the White House, according to a report released on Tuesday.

The I.R.S. has admitted that before the 2012 election it inappropriately delayed approval of tax exemption applications by groups affiliated with the Tea Party movement, but the I.R.S. and its parent agency, the Treasury Department, have said that the errors were not motivated by partisanship.

Emphasis added.

Up here in the mountains, the air is pretty good and clean. How is that city 'weather' on those lungs of yours?

That's right, if you can't dispute the facts, change the subject. But maybe I shouldn't be so quick to judge. Perhaps that was a serious question and you honestly have no clue how weather in the mountains would compare to weather in a city. After all you think asking for id is the same as searching someone so I shouldn't be surprised that this simple concept would confuse you.

Thats probably because I don't have one up my ass...because I'm not always in agreement with every single conservative on here. Nor are they with me or each other. You on the other hand drift so far to the left that I seem to recall MM asking...in a recent thread...just where the hell you were coming from. You parrot not just left talking points but far left talking points and can't seem to run what you read through any sort of filter in your brain.
I'll give you an example. I read the article that cloudboy cited above. He adds emphasis under the word "delayed". You would too. My emphasis would have been under the word "inappropriately"...not inadvertently or mistakenly but INAPPROPRIATELY. He also cherry-picked the article...which I'll freely admit everyone does...for back-up to his stated belief that there is no White House tie-in. There may not be. But I'll wait until this...also taken from cloud's source...happens. "It will continue in the 114th Congress under the committee’s new chairman, Representative Jason Chaffetz, Republican of Utah, after congressional investigators recovered thousands of I.R.S. emails thought to have been lost in a series of computer crashes."
