ORIGINAL: UtopianRanger For starters..... How bout a non-inbreed, non-pseudo-aristocrat? And then we can tweak it from there with someone with zero ties to corporations. Lets see.... the only guy who woulda fit that bill was someone like Paul Wellstone.... but he's dead. quote:
Popeye, how do you think Perot would have done in the White House? There's always a ton of red tape, but anyone who is a ‘’cost cutter’’ and a *real* fiscal conservative would be excellent for the country. I've always said that the money is best left in the hands of the people who made it in the first place. I don't believe in the axiom that redistribution of wealth makes for more collective security. On a side note.... I miss the hell out of Perot's ''debit bubble '' and ''deficit spending'' infomercials - If we could put those back on the tube and trick the people into thinking that they're watching ''reality TV'', we'd become a more prosperous country overnight. - R No matter if I agreed or disagreed with his opinions, Paul Wellstone was an outstanding man, from what I could gather. I miss Perot too lol, he may be a bit wacky, but he made a lot of sense, too.
