Look at the last two Presidents we've had.
Do they really "Represent" what the people want?
And they both went to Yale! Just like Hillary Clinton and John "French" Kerry.
I'm of the mind that I'd like a "Man of the People" in the White House.
Someone like a truck driver type with NO "degree" of any type.
I mean what do we have to lose? Abraham Lincoln didn't have a "degree".
We always seem to get the same type of people in the White House!
I want something different!
I'm an Independant voter "Undeclared" and I don't like Republicans or Democrats!
How about you?

Lotus, yup! He came from "money".
Never worked a day in his life nor did he have to!
Just like John "French" Kerry too.
He has to be the Thurston Howell of politics!
"Oh Lovey! Who are those poor people stuck to the electric fence?"
I was living in Massachusetts when he was Lt Gov. under Mike "Snoopy" Dukakis!
They took credit for "The Massachusetts Miracle" a bunch of high tech companies around the Boston area because of the universities there and promptly started raising taxes and drove a lot of them out to other states!
And now Mike Dukakis teaches "Government" @ the U of Hawaii!!! CRIPES!!!!!
Is he teaching people how to put companies out of business?
I SWEAR it's "The Peter Principle" in action!
Why do we seem to get the absolute WORST people for the job in government?

Gimme a prez that enjoyed a good bj in the Oval office over one that rapes and pillages his own nation.

Sorry, but nope we're not done yet..... rumors of Hillary 2008 and possibly even Condoliza 2008... so the 'WORST people for the job' job can't possibly be completed until we've had a couple of worthless Frat Girls in office too... think about it!

Excuse me a moment while I don my helmet and flame proof vest...

Unless you are going to blame former President Clinton for decisions made, without all the information we have today ... and/or blame him for getting a blowjob from a college girl ... and/or blame him for random events that just happen when you're a super power ... exactly what do you have against former President Clinton?

I wasn't at all politically active when he was in office, but it sure seems as if he did a pretty good job, all things being equal.

shhhh  caitlyn,   we can't let little things like facts get in the way

Interesting referencing Lincolan and throwing out the lawyers since Lincoln was a lawyer.

If you are tired of idiots in office then work for local candidates who are not idiots, volunteer your time for campaigns.  Waiting till you vote is too late and you get what you deserve.

I give money AND time to candidates both locally and far away.

Bitching about bad politicians and waiting till you get to the voting booth is about as idiotic as people who say they are "political" because they listen to the Clash or something.

caitlyn,
That he wasted what he could accomplish as President on a BJ and made the focus of his second term be on his sex life. Another example where the cover-up was worse than the 'crime'.

Caitlyn, I don't like either Clinton OR Bush.
I don't like Republicans OR Democrats.
Clinton is the type of guy whose lunch money I'd have taken as a teen. He reminds me of that guy "Joe Isuzu". He's just a lowlife!
Bush, he's brain dead and nothing more than a schill for big corporations! Neither one of them are "Leaders!" Sure, I want to be "lead" by some guy who got a degree from YALE!
As I said on another thread, watching the Bush-Kerry election was like watching the Iran/ Iraq war, you wanted BOTH of them to lose!
We really need 2nd, 3rd, and 4th political partys in this country.
And I don't think I'm alone in my feelings on this in the US
ofA either!

I went to hear former President Clinton speak not long ago. He's a pretty good sized guy. He probably would have taken your lunch money.

For starters..... How bout a non-inbreed, non-pseudo-aristocrat? And then we can tweak it from there with someone with zero ties to corporations. Lets see.... the only guy who woulda fit that bill was someone like Paul Wellstone.... but he's dead.

There's always a ton of red tape, but anyone who is a ‘’cost cutter’’ and a *real* fiscal conservative would be excellent for the country. I've always said that the money is best left in the hands of the people who made it in the first place. I don't believe in the axiom that redistribution of wealth makes for more collective security.

On a side note.... I miss the hell out of Perot's ''debit bubble '' and ''deficit spending'' infomercials - If we could put those back on the tube and trick the people into thinking that they're watching ''reality TV'', we'd become a more prosperous country overnight.

No matter if I agreed or disagreed with his opinions, Paul Wellstone was an outstanding man, from what I could gather.

I miss Perot too lol, he may be a bit wacky, but he made a lot of sense, too.

The dude is nearly sixty and has a bum ticker..... he ain't fighting anyone. And anyone in his position would go down in heartbeat. { Once your in the 190 lb range} Size don't mean chit unless your 6'8 330 - It's how mean, athletic and in-shape you are. Most dudes would be huffen' and puffen' after fifteen or twenty seconds of exertion from a fist fight. The adrenalin alone would get em' - Take that to the bank.  I used own a bar with guys thrown' every weekend. Again... far-n-away the toughest dudes were ones who were mean, strong and SUPER ATHLETIC.
