There's a 3rd choice: bitch/moan/whine/complain to the mods. That seems to work pretty well around here.

I have to be honest, after reading your profile I am not a bit surprised. There are a lot of people who have a real problem with the type of findomme you present. So you have 2 choices, you can accept that this shit is going to happen and ignore them or you can come to the forums and whine like a little girl and let them know that they got to you. Your choice.

Does anyone else find it quite funny when someone does this and thinks that have got one up on you, even when they have obviously read the preview? [sm=applause.gif]

It is quite presumptuous to believe that you can both know that the person has read your reply via the preview, and that they think they got one up on you.

You obviously have a very high opinion of yourself, one that is misplaced I might add.

What is the difference why they deleted it? It must bother you or you wouldn't have to have a narrative in place to explain it away.

~FRing it~

I think it's very funny when someone I don't know anything about comes to a forum to complain about what they find funny about the motivations of people I've never met either.

...and then claims they aren't complaining. Don't forget that.

theprlncesslucy -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 2:18:53 PM)

I think it's funny when people take time to complain about a post on a forum from someone they know nothing about [:)]

RockaRolla -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 2:43:51 PM)

I think it's funny when new posters get defensive at the lack of a red carpet welcome.

DesFIP -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 2:48:17 PM)

I find it funny that someone demands tribute, demands amazon wish list presents from people across the world, yet doesn't think asking for all these things that cost money makes them a fin domme.

I imagine they just wrote all the new girls, and didn't bother to check your profile till you wrote back. At which point, of course they blocked you.

LiveSpark -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 2:51:32 PM)

Popcorn anyone?

theprlncesslucy -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 2:56:46 PM)

Yes please

JstAnotherSub -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 2:56:50 PM)

Bless your heart.

ETA I don't think I have ever checked to see if a message was read. Perhaps I just don't give a flying fuck? To look, I would have to care, and as has been said time and time again on here...no reply is a reply.

When it's happened to me they are usually people who have tried to convince me to do things I'm not interested in. When they finally realise it's not going to work they delete my reply Unread as if it's a way of them coming out on top.

When it happens to me it's generally someone who wants to make a *pronouncement*, and gets his gratification from clicking "send". My responses are funny (well, I think so. [;)] ) and it's his loss if he actually has deleted it unread. [:D]

I don't find it anymore or less funny that someone does this than that it affects you enough to start a thread on it.

theprlncesslucy -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 3:17:49 PM)

But you've gone to the effort to reply anyway, surely that puts you in the same boat as me

RockaRolla -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 3:21:02 PM)

Well of course we're replying, we have something to say,

What else does a reply mean in your world?

theprlncesslucy -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 3:32:24 PM)

I was expecting replies to do with the original question. I expect I would have got very different answers if my profile and pictures were hidden

LiveSpark -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 3:34:52 PM)

Good grief we DID reply on point, you just didn't like that we didn't (necessarily) agree.

MariaB -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 3:52:44 PM)

Hi Lucy, I think you have stayed incredibly calm. I wish I had your calmness!

Keep posting darling and btw, welcome to the boards :)

theprlncesslucy -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 3:58:52 PM)

Thanks :) I'm always calm

I guess my whole question here is why on earth do you care?!??! If your interests do not match, then what does it even matter what they choose to do with any message? Do you expect them to continue being interested in you even though you have made it clear you are not interested in them? It could just be them deleting a message because there's no reason to read it or keep it - not everything is some sort of "way to come out on top." Especially if there's no interest. Such high opinions....

theprlncesslucy -> RE: Deleted Unread (12/27/2014 4:39:46 PM)

I don't care. It was a light hearted question, not something deep. You guys seem to care a lot more about it than me
