The DPD also said initially that two suspects were shot, one critical, no officers hit. That was updated as the details became clearer. Same with the initial information about what happened. That has been updated too.

Current reporting indicates that no second person in the car was hit. That appears to have been early misinformation.

That can't be so!! Channel 9 is our local NBC affiliate and we know NBC would NEVER go to air with misinformation, especially information that makes the cops look bad and a teenage Hispanic girl named ANGEL look hard done by, right?

Actually my motive was not so much about guns as the knee jerk reaction many people have when, regardless of the situation they assume the police had to be wrong.


only in your mind do people have a knee jerk, the cops are wrong attitude. The only cop kills someone stories we get on here are the ones where there are questions to be asked.

There is not a new thread every time a cop justifiably shoots someone, is there?

I don't know how this case will pan out, do you? I hope you've backed the right horse in this race because if it turns out the cops were out of order.....well....

And no matter how stupid the questions are there are several people we can count on to attack the cops

You could say it is. The teen tried to kill the cops with her car and paid for it.
To show the brilliance of the critics, one asked why the cops didn't just use a stun gun on her......while she is in a moving car.


Maybe they should have shot out her tires with a stun gun, or bean bag guns?

One of the people the press quoted actually asked why they didn't use a stun gun or rubber bullets.

wrong I knew that there was the driver and 3 passengers
My statement that only the driver was hit was accurate. the more that comes out the more it supports what I said, the dead girl was behind the wheel, not much of a stretch to say she was driving and a cinch the cops weren't

Funny. I remember PPLs posting, almost immediately, about what a racist Zimmerman was (still hasn't been proven). I remember people posting how Wilson had to be a racist (once they found out he was white).

I think it's funny when the left has to fall upon a "rush to judgment" defense (although, it's true that they're intimately familiar with the behavior).

I don't remember if the person you quoted is an Islamist, but it's in my head that he has posted as being anti-Israel (I can't be sure. He's been hidden for me for a loooooong time).

That said, if my memory serves I'm not sure enough time has past for someone who is of that bent to be talking about falling buildings.

But she was unarmed, just one little old car.
