I dont know I see it as almost a childish way to speak like a child first learning to talk how some of them dont know how to use first person and reafer to themselvs by thier names

IMO~ To each his/her own. But I also think it should be to their intended. I am a submissive, but only to the one I am with. I've had to use it under different Masters- and believe me! It's annoying to do as well! ::laughs:: but it figures- have your favorite saying be 'oh dammit, fuck me in the ass sideways' and then have third person speech invoked by your Master- it kills the saying quickly! lol

ravn, i say that ALL the time... i do third person in my r/p and when replying to a Master/Mistress OP on the gorean forums, its a way for me to show respect in my mind... i use first in everyday life...

When I realize that she's referring to herself, I think, "Oh Jesus", roll my eyes and move on to the next thread. Which, on a bad night, is in tiny pale pink font.....

When does it become involving people in your kink nonconsensually, I have heard some say they do this all the time, and that begs the question as to whether or not they are nonconsensually involving others in their kink if they do so.
