Yeah...Silly Americans...expecting the people we vote into office to respect the dignity of the office and just do their job there and not use the space for fucking their interns, especially when the officeholder is married to someone else and they're doing the fucking around on our dime. How provincial of us to expect someone who's going to preach to us about how to behave to expect him/her to behave in a respectful manner. Wow. Well, if you want to offend yourself and all other Americans, I guess it's your right to go ahead and do just that, CD. One thing I've noticed, time and again on these boards, is that those who are most likely to scorn what they see as 'political correctness' and oversensitivity regarding minorities, or those generally at the bottom in US society, are exactly the ones who are most hypersensitive to an imagined slight to Americans and the USA *as a whole* - especially from Europeans, but most of all from Brits. Interesting, that. As I've said before, there's no such thing as 'right wing political correctness'. But if it were to be invented - this would be an example of it. Peon, except for the east coast which tends to be Francophiles, most of the colonies love our patriarchal British. IF we seem to scorn you its because we see you as family and feel like we can do so with no harm done. id like to point out that most, if not all, my friends who have done special forces black type things really believe that the SAS kicks ass...which is high praise indeed. The British "patriarchy" didn't rule the world with puppies and daisies. We admire that. While I'm sure there will be repercussions for me saying so. If you only drove on the correct side of the road, you'd be perfect parents.
