I don't hate the right, I hate those who deny science and are willing to let this happen so long as they make a profit. I just feel sorry for people like you who've fallen for it. It's the same thing as with the tobacco companies trying to muddy the waters of scientific research by claiming that cigarettes didn't cause cancer, and the fact that you people can't see that is quite sad. You're bringing this on yourself, and like I said before, when it happens, the only people you will be able to blame is yourselves.

How about those scientific types that say the other scientific types are wrong. I don't really know who is right, but it does cause doubt. If science has proven conclusively, one way or the other (which it hasn't), then they would all be in agreement.

Remember, we are still looking at proving E=MC squared is an accurate statement and science is still trying to prove it wrong (unsuccessfully for now) or back in the days when the sum of all elements was water, fire, etc. It evolves and changes continuously. There is no, at least in my opinion 100% correctness. There fore those doubters are correct in their opinions in the view of some.

Wouldn't you agree?

I don't see what difference it makes, you are still wishing tragedy on thousands of innocent people to prove a point. Sorry but in my book that makes you a tool.

And I feel sorry for people like you who try to pretend they have any clue what other people believe when it's obvious by their posts that they don't.

More bullshit from the hateful little troll and not even related to the topic. But keep spinning, all you are doing is making yourself look even worse.

Researchers that are climate change deniers have often been shown to be either on big oil's payroll, or are not actual climate researchers. There was a popular researcher that denied climate change a few years back that did his own measurements and found that global temperatures were rising higher than the most recent records, and from that he changed his view point on the subject (I can't remember the name for the life of me).

And you're right, science should always be questioned and science is always changing, there is no harm in that. But there is harm in blatantly ignoring scientific findings, which deniers actively do. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. We understand how the world is working with the science we have today, I mean you're standing on the groun right? As soon as you suddenly float away then that would put the theory of gravity in question. There is nothing substantial in the current scientific literature which undergoes extensive review to determine validity, to suggest that what we know about climate change is completely and absolutely wrong.

1) Im not wishing tragedy on anyone, I'm expecting it. It's going to happen whether I want it or not.
2) I personally dont care if you think I'm a tool, and in any case I'd rather be a tool than ignorant.
3) Science is not a belief, and the fact that you think so speaks volume to your ignorance. Science happens whether we believe in it or not.
4) Reality is a bitch, just because you can't accept it and lash out by calling people trolls simply shows how easily your feelings get hurt. Poor baby.

You said "I personally can't wait for southern Florida to flood permanently so I can see the reaction the deniers have, probably claiming it's Obama trying to jump start the apocalypse or something."

Sorry dude but that is wishing tragedy on someone no matter how hard to try to spin it. If you don't want to stand behind your words perhaps you shouldn't type them.

I never said it was and the fact that you are willing to lie and claim I did just confirms what I already thought about you.

Touché, I did say that. I did say flood, I never said I wanted anyone to die horrible deaths. You can extrapolate all you want, but if I didn't say I wanted anyone to die, you can't exactly say I did.

If you're done arguing semantics how about we discuss the science like civilized folk, provide references to actual scientific research to back up statements and move past this idiocy.

Give me a fucking break, you said you could hardly wait until southern Florida floods and now you are trying to claim you didn't think anyone would be hurt by this. Now maybe I underestimated your intelligence and you really don't understand how dangerous a flood could be but my guess is you are just trying to come up with a way to make yourself sound better. Good luck with that.

Didn't anyone ever tell you to always spell check your posts when you are criticizing others?

2) I'm on my phone and it's hardly the best for grammar, not that you probably care

Barack and Michelle take seperate planes to California on the same day:

President Obama flew to Los Angeles to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live on the same day first lady Michelle Obama also reportedly flew to Los Angeles to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

So, why is it causing a stir? According to The Washington Times, both flights are on the taxpayer's dime, with the president flying on Air Force One at an estimated cost of $228,000 per hour of flight time, while Michelle Obama took a different plane....

Yet we are supposed to carpool across town in dangerous little cars the size of sardine cans and unplug our cell phone chargers in order to curb greenhouse gasses and save the planet

But then, we arent "Dear Leader" elites, like Al Gore and the Obamas etc

Since when did I say Obama was a chamopion of the climate movement? Change happens slowly, and we're not going to make any change if simply refuse to do anything that creates CO2.
