Reasons not to vote Ted Cruz:

A ) Tea Party favorite
B ) Member of the Republican Party
C ) Wanted to shut down the US Government
D ) Violator of the Logan Act (aka should be charged)
E ) Bad fiscal responsibility policy
F ) Not very well educated
G ) Comes from Texas, were everyone running for President is an idiot
H ) He believes he has a clue what it means to be a US President
I ) He'll get us into a war with someone

Not well educated?

Harvard Law, magna cum laude, a primary editor of the Harvard Law Review, and executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and a founding editor of the Harvard Latino Law Review. At Harvard Law, Cruz was a John M. Olin Fellow in Law and Economics. Currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the Texas Review of Law and Politics.

Wow. You really DO judge people on the color of their skin, don't you?

I think that "Don't vote for a lawyer" is perfectly reasonable.

What is sickening is that those quals are considered a fine education for a black man but for an honorary white (Latino) they are crap. It is such incredibly racist thinking.

I dont think so, because it was not democrats that were hauling out that racist asswipe for the last 8 years. It was 'conservatives'. This would be bad breath blowing back in their faces now. Because they couldn't be talking out of the other side of their mouths.

Oh please. How many times has joether went on about how wonderfully educated Obama is with those quals and NOW he considers it not well educated for an honorary white? That is just not right.

It should be considered a good education or a bad education no matter the skin color. Otherwise it is a racial double standard.

I will say that I have an Eagles view on it:

"The more I think about it old Billy was right, let's kill all the lawyers, kill 'em tonight,"

joether said nothing about the law stuff that I saw. That was you.

I was the one who mentioned that it is certainly a matter of his being a loser and getting that because he is hispanic, much as it was repeatedly assured us that was the case with obama for 8 years.

joether said he was stupid, and I agree. Obama has that same law degree and people say he is stupid and many agree.

I cannot find an disparity in the equivalence.

It does upset me some and further astonish me that we have been categorically assured that Harvard is a liberal college and they 'brainwash' students with liberal values.

Does this indicate that Cruz is sentient and performing autonomous processes and not in possession of a brain?

Or have we been swamped by lying rightwing fascist asswipe once again?

He said, "Not very well educated."

I pointed out that he had the same highest ed as Obama, who he has praised and discussed as being "well educated."

That is the racist disparity.

The irony of Cruz spouting about "Liberty" during the announcement to run , was simply breathtaking, given he was talking to a hall full of students who were compelled to go and listen to him.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz became the first major Republican candidate to declare himself officially in the 2016 presidential race. In announcing his presidential ambition, Cruz repeated a number of dubious claims we have heard before, and a few we haven’t.

Some highlights:

-- Cruz railed against a “government … that seeks to ban our ammunition.” The Obama administration sought to ban a certain type of armor-piercing bullet, not all types of ammunition. The proposal has since been postponed.

-- Cruz claimed that as a result of the Affordable Care Act “millions … have lost their health insurance.” In fact, about 10 million people on net
gained insurance between September 2013 and December 2014, according to the Urban Institute.

-- Cruz also claimed that as a result of the law “millions [have been] forced into part-time work.” There’s no solid figure on how many may have had their hours cut to part time, but one analysis of monthly labor surveys said the number was “likely” a few hundred thousand.

I still think presidential candidates should have sponsor logos sewn on their suit coats similar to NASCAR drivers. Then, you can see who owns them and which corporation to vote into office.

Worse yet he has read the Constitution and actually believes in that dusty outdated document.

Since the ammo he wanted to ban has a lead core, it is by definition not armor piercing. And it goes in a not assault weapon.

http://www.politifact.com/texas/statements/2013/feb/01/ted-cruz/ted-cruz-says-jurisdictions-strictest-gun-laws-hav/
Crime statistics prove that gun control laws don’t work, according to Texas’ junior U.S. senator, Ted Cruz, who has made several such statements since his January 2013 swearing-in.

Cruz, a Republican, declared such a pattern in a Senate hearing Jan. 30, 2013. Earlier, he said in a Jan. 7, 2013, PBS "Newshour" interview: "If you look at the jurisdictions with the strictest gun control laws, almost without exception, they have the highest crime rates and the highest murder rates."

Is that so?

PolitiFact checked a similar statement in February 2011, when National Rifle Association leader Wayne LaPierre said that "violent crime in jurisdictions that recognize the right to carry (firearms for personal protection) is lower than in areas that prevent it."

LaPierre’s claim was rated False. After looking at information from interest groups, a federal research center and the FBI, PolitiFact concluded, "We don't see any evidence that state gun laws correlate with violent crime rates one way or the other."

Theres more than 40 fact checked bits with Cruz, most are hiccups, some of them are partisan, some of them are ....why I dont like the man.

To Ron:)
I dont lying politicians of any stripe or side , I dont like social conservatives, I dont like teaparty candidates and I dont like his policies.
But, you keep him eh?
gonna be a fun year and a half.
