Glad to see you recognize we don't have open borders. We already spend $18B a year on Immigration Customs Enforcement. That is more than all other federal enforcement agencies combined (FBI, ATF, Secret Service, et. al.)

I am 50 years old. In my entire lifetime I've only met one "open borders" person, and she was from Germany.

So, who exactly are you talking about?

Do me a favor...ascribe what ever you like to my posts.
Give them a value of your own choosing
You get to do that.
You get to decide whether you read them, whether they have any value or if they are worthless.
On my end I get to decide the same where your posts are concerned.
But when you start off a post by telling me to "Be honest" you are implying that up till now I have been,at best, less than honest.
That tends to lead to me deciding that everything that follows is so much bullshit.
So if your intention is to have an actual back and forth with me....you are going to need to re word how you go about it...cause I stopped reading after "Be honest...."

Issues should not be sorted out on "beliefs" but instead facts.

(1) Fact: there is no problem of voting fraud anywhere in the USA.

(2) Fact: it is a felony to commit voter fraud. Why would anyone risk it?

(3) Fact: voter ID will deny numerous people their vote.

(4) Projection: After a few elections, we can hope more people have the necessary IDs to vote.

(5) Fact: The only proponents of VOTER ID laws are Republican Lawmakers. If voting fraud is not IN FACT a problem, why would they propose these new laws just days after the US Supreme Court voided the VOTING RIGHTS ACT?

kdsub -> RE: SCOTUS and the Wisconsin Voter ID Law (3/25/2015 9:59:45 AM)

Wrong on all your facts my friend...

1.) there has been voter fraud in my area on many occasions...fact look it up.

2.) money

3.) why?

4.) No idea what the hell you mean here

5.) wrong again... I am not a republican... or a law maker... and I am a proponent along with millions just like me... too bad for you.

get over it get used to it because if you don't have an id law in your state now you most likely will soon.

Butch

Fact. You now need an ID to vote in Wisconsin elections. Thank you Scott Walker and the legislators who made this law.

mnottertail -> RE: SCOTUS and the Wisconsin Voter ID Law (3/25/2015 11:50:26 AM)

Thank you scott walker for violating the constitution and the massive fiscal mess you have in Wisconsin. As well as your abandonment of traditional republican and conservative principles by your regime of goons and thugs.

And I gotta stop and guffaw at the 2nd amendment guys here, if you read the held, you will see whats coming......

servantforuse -> RE: SCOTUS and the Wisconsin Voter ID Law (3/25/2015 11:58:40 AM)

He did not violate the constitution and Wis. is not in a fiscal mess. Elections have consequences, remember.

mnottertail -> RE: SCOTUS and the Wisconsin Voter ID Law (3/25/2015 12:02:24 PM)

Gosh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. So let's try this again...

People living here need id to do all kinds of things. It really does make life a lot easier to have one but some folks for what ever reason don't. If this is going to get those people an id card then how is that bad? Now granted they should have already taken care of this but apparently there are a whole shit load of people who didn't. So again, why are you so against them finally getting that card? Do you really hate the right so much that you are willing to let those folks go without an id because you don't think there is voter fraud? Isn't that kinda like cutting off your nose to spite your face?
