Really Fast response

all this hate from the hate filled you adorbs people you. [8|]

Im sorry you dont like it when you hide behind a "religion" to excuse your"feelings" you deserve all the free speech you cant handle.
and you still think you have the right to discriminate in your business.
NO you dont.
The pizza guy has had over 40,000 dollars donated to him ....he made the ignorant statement, hes the fuckwad, and so are the people who threatened violence, no matter who they are.
Now hes just a guy who made a statement, before the law was backtracked.....now he legally cant discriminate....
poor thing.
Freedom of speech has its consequences, death threats and destruction threats ARE against the law for a reason.
Its despicable, but then so is cloaking hate in "religious freedom and rights"
I will repeat again, these are a few"christians" who are as hatefilled as some of the usual suspects.

Yanno like Rush limbaugh equating gay marriage with bestiality
Or the cardinal that stated gays and divorced people gettin married "Just As Sinful As Murderers"
Senator Cotton who stated today that Gays should be happy they dont live in Iran.
Oh and in Madison, Wisconsin, discriminating against atheists is not allowed now either
Bill O'Reilly Tries To Link Opponents Of Indiana's Anti-LGBT Law To Terrorists Targeting Christians In Kenya oh and the totalitarian left are out of control, now its a civil war.
I would add more , but its almost easter....

I have never known a gay bar to discriminate, I have been in lots of them. But that is not to say that there are those who dont.

Myself, I've only frequented one gay bar. All me and my student friends did - gay or straight: it was the only bar in our area of SE London that felt safe.

I wonder how do they test gayness in those who discriminate

I visited a few and I have to agree with you thishereboi..................same in London, Hamburg, Koln, Buenos Aires, Sydney and a number of other places. And before you call me a liar, a hypocrite or stupid PS, yep, you could be right. Í have been called worse names in more languages and by more intelligent people than you, so it really doesn't bother me.

I cant comment about most places but you would get in gay bars in London if you were not in a group of louts, unless there was a strict dress code. Or, understandably, if it was a lesbian only night.

You keep checking my profile so you know I am in the UK, I would be happy to know which gay bars in London wouldnt serve you purely for being straight.

kdsub -> RE: Indiania can now discriminant against anyone (4/3/2015 4:40:35 PM)

Here we have a right to association... but only in private clubs NOT open to the general public...and even then in some states there are more regulations for private clubs before they can discriminate.

The Governor of Indiania, Mike Pence, signed into law a bill that allows businesses to refuse customers they think are gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, or even transgendered. While he tried to explain it as not being that; only those supporting the GOP/TOP would be dumb enough not to figure this out as being the wrong idea. Pushing religious dogma down the citizen's throats, it is now legal for a business to refuse to serve someone they think is homosexual. Likewise, means they can refuse....anyone....and later claim "I thought they were gay/lebsian/bisexual/transgendered". So that black guy whom is heterosexual, can be refused, right along with the combat veteran, blind/deaf person, and anyone not of the same religion (i.e. muslims).

All the business owner has to say is "I thought they were gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered."

This....*IS*....an example of tyranny! I expect all those Indianans whom have guns to immediately resist this law pass by both a state legislature and executive branches. Otherwise, we can cross that myth off the list of other firearm myths in the nation.

On a more serious note, how the FUCK does this get past the citizens? That I can see this law being used abusively onto US Citizens and even tourists. Right off the bat, two major groups have stated they will be moving their events eleswhere unless this law is purged: Gen Con and the Disciples of Christ church group. For those that dont know, Gen Con is like the 'Mecca of the Gaming World' (thing Comic Con, meets PAX East and Dungeon & Dragons). That is a HUGE amount of future tourist dollars being lost by area businesses.

The NCAA is also considering removing itself from this state. A major lost for students enrolled in area schools.

Gov. Pence is considered one of the possible 2016 contenders. This bill is help satisfy conservatives, that he is a 'defender of Christian freedom' (at the expense of all other religions and views of Christianity of others). Its a bill pushed for petty political points, not, solid and reasonable government. When signing the bill into law, Gov. Pence had this to say:

"The Constitution of the United States and the Indiana Constitution both provide strong recognition of the freedom of religion but today, many people of faith feel their religious liberty is under attack by government action..."

Yeah, if someone else's faith in philosophy or religion was not affected by gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender person; how does this law help them? It doesn't. These people's religious viewpoints are irrelevant according to the Governor of their state!

He goes on to say:

"This was a measure that frankly, Indiana should have enacted many years ago. It gives our courts guidance about evaluating government action and puts the highest standard -- it essentially says, if a government is going to compel you to act in a way that violates your religious beliefs, there has to be a compelling state interest."

I wonder how the citizens of Indiana are enjoying that religious fanatical fascism they elected to public office? Maybe they should be a bit more careful...WHO....they elect to government, eh?

SOURCE

Mike Pence was in the top 5 for running for Prez....even BEFORE he got his nuts cut off, he wouldn't have allowed his state to be an outlier.

Get over it people.

This is a headline...nothing else.

(Fuuuuuck.....can't seem to NOT bold my type!!!!)

PS...............There were two in Berwick Street, the Alibi and the Golden Lash. There was one in Greek Street, The Flamingo and there was one in Camden Town near the Dublin Castle . I am talking a few years back, so they may have folded or moved on. I have no idea about that and no intentions of ever going back to UK, so I won't be checking on them sfb.

Actually they don't, at least not in this area. Now I suppose if one of the guys who was thrown out could have sued the bar but in all the years I have been going to them i have never heard of one that did. They just left and that was the end of it. And I am not saying it happens in all of the bars or that it is as bad as it was when I first started going out, but it does happen. And you didn't answer the question. Do you think gay bars should have to allow anyone who wants to walk through that door in?

Nope, homophobia would imply I'm afraid of gay people. I was just answering an absurd qyestion with an equally absurd answer.

Yes and by law and in fact they do...unless they are a private club NOT open to the public.

If this bar is open to the general public then it will allow non-gays if they want to stay open and someone does complain... don't believe me...ask the owner and see what he says.

I just caught this story on the local news. In Longwood,FL some Christian guy thought it would be a bright idea to show there is a double standard on this wedding cake issue. He calls an LBGT friendly bakery and trys to order a wedding cake with a not so LBGT friendly inscription. The bakery refuses to make the order. The Christian guy recorded the conversation and posted it on Facebook. The bakery also gets death threats.....or maybe it was the Christian guy getting the threats. I'm not sure. I guess the wedding cake cuts both ways[8D]

You might want to check it out, it matters who is going off the deep end.
I think this baker was also within his rights.
