Furthermore, I ask all of those who seem to have a problem with Obama no matter what he does, just what really...REALLY is he supposed to do ?

In general, when you find yourself in a deep hole and especially if you didn't dig the hole in the first place; the first thing you do is QUIT DIGGING THE HOLE DEEPER.
The Middle East has been a black hole of conflict for at least a hundred years that sucks in any group that tries to get involved.

Well easy enough to suggest plus part & parcel if my point. He's seen bulldozers of US policy digging holes and what...has a teaspoon to dig us out ? Or are you simply suggesting, more war ?

Say maybe a couple airborne divs. EACH in Syria, Iraq and Yemen...for starters ? Sure !! That would be to keep digging.

At this juncture, we walk away from the table, continue the sanctions and re-visit the issue when we can bargain from a position of strength. I don't think it would take more than about 6 months of re-initiated sanctions.

We probably shouldn't have stopped them, before the negotiations, in the first place.

We're talking about giving the bomb to a country who has a general who just yesterday said that the destruction of Israel is non-negotiable.

I think Obummer can be directly compared to Chamberlain, in this instance.

Michael

It may well be that we would agree that whatever is agreed upon, the senate will have its say and yes, either a dem or repub pres. in 2017 will have to reposition our sanction regime.

It is my guess that what we have is a loose almost meaningless framework just to keep thje world's hawks off the front pages and TV or at least take some steam off of the situation.

I see likely a whole lot left to pin down.

Then you didnt watch the news properly. What has been decided on is a framework which works for all parties. The Legal bods have until June to finalise a treaty ready for the signatures.

Does it matter who made it or why? A political deadline was made, it was passed, no consequences. There have been several. Still no consequences.

If someone sought to limit your ability to own a firearm you would protest I am sure. So why is it that you are in favor of limiting someone elses right to own firaearms?

Why do you feel the u.s. has a right to tell another soverign nation how it may conduct it's internal affairs?

Which part of these negotiations require us to give "the bomb" to anyone?

I think Obummer can be directly compared to Chamberlain, in this instance.

How so?
