UPDATED – Women betrayed: TEN female House Republicans vote against the Violence Against Women Act

Here’s the list of female members of Congress who voted against protecting women from domestic violence and other forms of violence against women:

Michele Bachman (MN-06)
Diane Black (TN-06)
Marsha Blackburn (TN-07)
Renee Ellmers (NC-02)
Virginia Foxx (NC-05)
Vicky Hartlzer (MO-04)
Cynthia Lummis (WY)
Kristi Noem (SD)
Martha Roby (AL-02)
Ann Wagner (MO-02)

Let’s give these brave women a hand shall we? Rather than making sure that women in this country are protected from violence, they stayed loyal to the hateful ideology of the Republican Party, did their part in the Republican War on Women and tried to ensure that those protections would never come to be.

And as of now:
Bachman out
Black still in
Blackburn still in
Ellmers still in
Foxx still in
Hartzler still in
Lummis still in
Noem still in
Roby still in
Wagner still in

Of course we all do realize the Democrat war on women exists basically because they can't discuss job performance this election cycle.

I cant believe rape laws, kidnapping, battery and murder laws, all these laws no longer apply when a woman is the victim.

His wife had 13! oooooooo....

I am a policy guy, not great at predicting how people will vote. But I tend to agree with you... I think Rubio will fade out. But, if not Rubio, then who wins the Republican nomination? Neocons VS Libertarians

I think the most interesting part of that video (and I only watched half of it) was when it was pointed out that the NY Times hadn't actually done the research themselves. The records pulls were done by a Hillary-linked research team.

If there was any question that the NY Times is an arm of the Democratic Party, that should be sufficient evidence that it is.

http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2015/06/05/marco-rubio-and-his-wife-cited-17-times-for-traffic-infractions-2/

It appears that Mr Rubio has more than 4 parking tickets in his past. Apparently there is a story of him using funds donated for his re-election as a "personal slush fund" that is being re-examined with a fine tooth comb:
"Set up ostensibly for “education” and “to support state and local candidates who espouse conservative government policies”, the committees, according to investigations by the Miami Herald and Tampa Bay Times, paid tens of thousands of dollars in “reimbursements for expenses” to Rubio and several family members, another $150,000 for “office/operating and administrative costs”, up to $50,000 in vague credit card charges covering travel, food and lodging, and many thousands more in “consultancy fees”.

Former Florida governor Charlie Crist, who lost to Rubio in the 2010 US Senate election, accused his opponent of enriching himself through private “slush funds”. Rubio’s then campaign adviser Todd Harris admitted that the bookkeeping “was not always perfect”
."

and another matter that led to Rubio returning $16,000 after a financial "misunderstanding"; .
"Tax exemption rules for political parties limit spending to legitimate political activities including fundraising. Yet more than $100,000 in charges that appeared on Rubio’s bills during his two years as speaker included bills for groceries, liquor, a $10,000 family vacation to Georgia and some expensive car repairs. The image-conscious politician even splurged $134 on a haircut at a prestigious Miami salon.
When the Herald and Times inquiry exposed the details, Rubio acknowledged the spending as a misunderstanding and paid back more than $16,000
."

It will be interesting to see what renewed focus on Mr Rubio's finances reveals

Wow, another hit piece. Someone is afraid of Marco Rubio... For sure.

Most, if not all of those things are legitimate campaign expenses but they were listed anyway to make the teapot this tempest is in look really big

“office/operating and administrative costs” - Ooh, scary

“consultancy fees” - Gasp!

"$50,000 in vague credit card charges covering travel, food and lodging" - Someone find me a fainting couch

(Get back to us when your far left rag actually has a scandal)

The allegations add up to financial impropriety Sanity. While one eyed fanatics such as yourself might be prepared to overlook such matters, they are a serious matter if found to be proven.

Serious enough to derail Mr Rubio's Presidential aspirations permanently if they turn out to be true. I am not sure that most Americans will be as blase as you seem to be about a Presidential hopeful who dips his mitts into the kitty jar and enriches himself by breaking campaign finance rules.

Its a hit piece. Hint - candidates need nice haircuts and they have office expenditures, travel costs etc

You and your left wing rag are hysterical over literally nothing, typical left wing lies and propaganda that we are growing used to. Then another hysterical leftist screams, we have got to rely on this sort of reporting for our voting decisions because campaigns getting their message out themselves is completely unacceptable

Just another typical day

You'll have to excuse the exorbitant hair styling costs. It's a not unusual for a candidate to spend a lot of money on his/her hair.

Hillary Clinton

John Edwards

If Rubio has valid reasons behind the expenditures, then it's a non-story. If he doesn't, I'll have no problem for him facing whatever punishment is prudent for the infraction(s).

From your link: [:D]

Back in 2004, rumors flew that Kerry, a presidential contender, paid $1,000 to fly Goetz to Pittsburgh for a last-minute touch up before appearing on "Meet the Press." In 2006, Clinton reportedly spent $2,500 over two months getting her tresses done by Goetz as she campaigned for Senate.

Yeah, IF there is any impropriety found. But this business of breathlessly "reporting" that a hated conservative got a haircut...

No.

Whats even worse is how there are a lot of people who read that sort of tripe without thinking for themselves a little bit

What a joke. The clintons had $80,000,000 in travel expensive and leftists like her aren't worried but this is a big deal.

What a joke. After the entire left blowing off the Clinton's financial dealing you really sound so serious about this. Biased little minds. All Rubio has to say is parrot Hillary. That arrow has been removed from the lefts quiver this election.

Tweakas own article admits that this is old news, all of the accusations reported in the article were made by Rubios' political adversaries, and that Obamas IRS already went through the records in question with a fine toothed comb but could find no reason to bring any charges

(When will Obamas IRS goons check the Clintons' oral cavities. See what THEYRE hiding...)
