Then, as is typical with centralized control under Marxist systems oil production fell through the floor

From your link.
Why do you feel that a fraction of a single digit percentage equals "falling through the floor".

quote:

Production peaked in 2008 at 3.2 million barrels a day, and last year slid by 11,000

Alright, so the Marxist government there is reduced to taking care of the population as if everyone is a helpless little child in order to remain in power. They sit upon the largest, richest oil field in the world... They have added employees hand over fist in order to raise production

But production continues to fall

quote:

PDVSA is pumping about 8,000 barrels per employee per day, compared to about 26,000 barrels in 2004

And the people are beginning to riot

What were the capitalists doing, to increase the production per employee, that the Marxists are not

Does increased oil production actually equate to more revenue generated? OPEC doesn't seem to think so

Yes I saw the news reports about Ferguson. But I do not see the relevance to oil production.

Hugo Chavez was president in 2004 and had been for the previous 5 years. So your assertion that capitalist and not marxist were in charge of oil production in 2004 is less than accurate.
