There is a wonderful breakfast/lunch place called Green Eggs. Try to go during the week. During the weekends there is a line up the block. It is in Center City.

For sightseeing - I would take the Phlash Bus. It's a cheap easy way to see a lot of the city. Plus you can get on and off as much as you want.

South Street in the evenings is always interesting people watching. (From Front Street to about 10th street)

Christ Church - Benjamin Franklin is buried there

Liberty Bell - Usually very crowded

Mutter Museum if you like weird medical things

I can't think of the name of it, but on South Street around 4th street is a little Sushi Bar that is fabulous

Haven't been to it, but have heard a great place for brunch is Supper

For cheesesteaks - I suggest Jim's also on South Street (I'm sorry Pat's and Gino's are too touristy for me)

If you like to cook there is a great kitchen supply store in the Italian Market called Fante's Looks small from the outside, but trust me, it's huge.

It is the largest collection of Rodin's sculpture outside Paris. To me

The Liberty Bell (which by the way, is not the actual Liberty Bell....it's a replica....the original was removed years ago when some psycho decided to take a big fucking hammer to it) is entirely.....absolutely....not even remotely interesting.

If you do go....here's what you'll see: A bell....that's cracked....with a plaque. It's a cracked bell.

Philly's a great town and.....go down any street (doesn't matter which one....some are better, some are worse but NONE SUCK like the ones in Times Square and.....order a REAL Philly Cheese sandwich. Pull over the horse carriage and ask someone where the best one is....there's about 100 that are good (again....NONE are in NY!).....go to (ANY) one of those and you'll have a great sandwich.
