Where's your proof? I hear you ask.

The Pope has just issued a paper calling for urgent action on climate change. If that doesn't prove that they are all dyed-in-the-wool socialists in the Vatican I don't know what will.... I mean what more proof could anyone ask for?

That the Vatican has come out loudly on the side of climate change action must present all kinds of dilemmas for those stupid enough to believe that the entire climate change thing is a socialist plot to re-distribute wealth. If their view is valid, then they have to believe that the Vatican must be part of this world wide socialist conspiracy .......

If you are not insane enough to believe that, you will need to come up with a slightly more credible reason why the overwhelming majority (most figures I have seen put it at >95%) of the world's climate scientists believe that urgent action on climate change is needed.

If you have half a mind and you dig just a tiny fraction deeper you will easily discover that the popes communist creds are truly stellar

Combine that with the popes call for revolution, and chiming in with all of the other socialist cliches about helping the poor...

He gave Castro a medal for "helping the poor" for example.

Damn... What irony. Only helped make everyone in Cuba who wasnt a part of the ruling elite one of them

everything beginning with a "c" (with only 2 exceptions*) has been created and then joined to suppress all and everything

communism, catholicism, christianity, cience, climate ... and I am sure there are many more

you may have missed that a user named Aylee made a statement about germany and its energy policy that was based on informations that were incomplete, and I informed her about it and posted a link myself where to see the complete information in the next post

nothing more worth to discuss about it

get proper informations - it is not impossible

it helps to be able to read german though but many are available in several languages for international readers

Of course there is another possibility. These Vatican people a looooong time ago already experienced a world wide climate change - called the Deluge by them Vatican people - and that afflicted them with kind of a trauma, causing them to get the hiffytivvyshivers whenever a cloud appears on the horizon. In other words: they are certifiably nuts of the aquafobia type.

This contrasts with the Dutch farmers who are complaining about the dryest month in a very long time.
