Just was talking to some so called Domme who wanted me to "prove" myself by tributing her with paypal. Where do these scumbags come from?

Well, what can you offer as a submissive, aside from having your submissive needs met? Not every Domme who requires a tribute is a scammer but if you have nothing to offer other than "being a good slave", then I'm not surprised that the suggestion of financial tribute was mentioned. But also, a lack of profile also attracts scammers.

My advice would be to complete your profile with detailed information on what you can offer a Domme in aspects of servitude and what you expect in return and don't just throw yourself at anyone who has the name Mistress or Domina as a title. That may help prove your "worthiness" and you can avoid the scammers.

Where do all the guys come from who hit me up with cock pictures and they never read my profile who can't compose a single coherent sentence?

They're all out there. Everywhere.
Maybe you don't associate with them on a day to day basis, especially if you're a professional.

But the middle of the Bell Curve is where most people are, so, that's where they come from.

Welcome to the internet. Did you know that people in the US lose $240 million dollars a year to scams? Someone asking you to send tribute is probably not a scam. You wouldn't be defrauded unless you were promised something specific for your money like a picture or some item and did not receive it.

Your best friends here are named Delete and Block. Use your friends when you find someone around here you who is not in your search criteria. Do not make a whining post on the forum. It makes you look whiny. Whiny is not an attractive asset.

Fill out your profile. If you are looking for a long term relationship say that. If you are seeking an occasional play partner say that. A Domme will want to know about your vanilla interests as much as your kink interests. Then go to your nearest munch. Munches are where Dommes hang out to socialize with friends. Attend events. Make friends. Show that you are the kind of guy a Domme would be proud to own.

If you want a couple of ideas to really get a feel of how scumbags are treated on here, may I suggest that you start posts along the lines of

There are Pro-Dommes that are also lifestyle Dommes, I'd well imagine. So there is some crossover. A Pro' still has to know about consent, limitations and so forth as well as actually knowing what they are doing with regards to the psychology of the submissive, and the equipment they will be using.

To me, a tribute is the equivalent of why some models (and photographers) ask for a deposit when booking a shoot. Not only does it secure that time slot, but lessens the chance of either party backing out and wasting time due to the money involved.

Oh wonderful!! Another clueless one who equates Pro Dommes with hookers. Guess you might be surprised to find out that Pro Dommes do no provide any sex. You don't get to touch them sexually and they don't tweek your wienie.

You must be very long term good friend with the owner of this site to know what his intentions were when the site was formed. To answer the original question "Where do these scumbags come from?": they come from numerous poor countries of the world with access to the internet and lots of young, clever (and not so clever) young people. For people in the US or other wealthy states, a few bucks usually means as much as skipping a coffee on the go, but for them it may mean a small fortune. Sites like CM are perfect hunting grounds for them. I know I haven't said anything new but even though, it had to be said. Personally, I would never "tribute" anyone based on a few photos and message exchanges. But hey, if you have too much money in your bank and want to share with the poor of the world - that's your call :)

I had never thought about it that way, but you're correct.

It's a tribute in some (many? all?) ways, but it's not called a tribute.

Very interesting concept. I'll have to think about that some more, as it strikes me as eloquently descriptive, in a word.

Yes... and no.

I t accused of being a findom when I say that I love when submissive males bring me gifts and flowers and such... and yet, I don't require it. I simply enjoy it, and they enjoy putting a smile on my face, so it's not a tribute. It's something they do for themselves as much as for me (I wouldn't enjoy a gift given resentfully).

I think that what you suggest is only a tribute if you are taking me out to add to the "get laid points" fund, rather htan because you enjoy my company.

I've included an actual recent photo in my profile. Something missing from many profiles on this site. People hiding behind images or pictures of how they wish they looked. If this site required an actual accurate photo of all the members with proof of identity it would change the landscape of this site in a single day.
