She is fighting the [apparently correct] perception that the DNC leadership is trying to tilt the field so that she wins no matter what. Damage control. It's why I'm leaving the Democrats after the primary [and I doubt I'm the only one].

I'm going to have to guess that her people were probably whispering in her ear along the lines of: "Remember how much heat Trump got for skipping that one debate? Do you want people saying that you're not as tough as Sanders?" Whether or not that weighed heavily in her decision? Who the hell knows. I can't pretend to know what goes on in her mind. i saw Catherine Herridge give that report yesterday on Deirdre Bolton's show on fox business. I saw it as both encouraging and frustrating. encouraging from the perspective of evidence of progress being made; frustrating from the perspective of that even though his testimony is leading to progress, we're still in this seemingly interminable position of being on the outside looking in and not seeing as much as we need or would like to be.

You can't actually support the position that it is ineffectual . 20% of the democrat party views her as honest. Seems a good result, all by itself.
