Sorry boys and girls or whoever maintains this site,

you are dumb as jack.

You "loose" accounts, you "loose" pictures, you "loose" messages, shit doesn't work for days.

If this were a pay site, you would be broke.

You block people from sending mails only based on the number of mails, not the content or receiver.

I have and can't find any rational for what you guys are doing.

Can you please get your act together or do you insist on behaving like little boys?

Maybe, maybe not.

But what matters maybe more for the subs than for the Doms is something predictable.

Now to be clear, I do enjoy the service, but if it is all fucked up because of incompetence then the "largest BDSM community" may go belly up.

The quality of service matters even for advertisers.

I really think this is done by some 16 year old boys who do it for fun, because I really can't see a design.

Example: You go to sent items and you see what happened to your mail and you open it and you can't take notes or hide or block.

How stupid is that with existing functionality?

Here is a perfect example of someone who comes to this side of the site, says some dumb shit, yet we cant comment for
the fact of being in a clique or ganging up on the OP.

So make sure when you people who run back to FL and bitch about how there are terrible ppl over here, that you get the whole story.


OP- if you hate this place so much, ask for a refund.

From a mere fun perspective, the site is good, from a professional perspective it is "bad" to be gentle.

But in today's world everyone who can write with spellchecker is an expert in everything.

What pisses me off about your note here is that I speak imperfectly 5 human languages.
I am close to perfect in 7 computer ones. Cobol, Assembler, Pascal, C, RPG, ABAP, BASIC.
Maybe I forgot one or two.

Now we have this little nerd with no contribution on the subject.

What can you bring to the table that is of any value?

I was trying to point out that you were calling others stupid and commenting on people using spellcheck, when you couldn't tell the difference between 'loose' and 'lose' (despite your extensive knowledge of languages).

Actually there is no need to discuss it. It is a matter of grammatical fact.

As for calling me small-minded...meh...I've been called worse in multiple languages.

First of all, I do know the software this site uses and posted comments about this in the right forum, where this topic is already running.

Second, the ASP and IIS software running this web initially came out in 1996... 20 years ago, not 30 years ago. The actual PGD forum software has been in use since 2004, which is probably how old the SQL database is. That database is what I presume they have been having a problem with because it has been broken for 2 months now. I can only assume that what's being fetched is corrupted, not the software fetching it. Otherwise the repairs should have taken hours or days, not weeks or months.

The fact you think a teenager can fix 16 years worth of data from a site that has 200,000 new visitors a month that made over 4,822,726 posts on the forums and countless millions of profiles . . . well, I can only presume you know just enough to sling insults because you don't know enough to understand the problem.

I agree with you that it is an awful long time to be limping along and running on patches and work arounds. Collarspace/collarchat is my favorite free or pay site. The structure of it and the amount of content it delivers is a community service to us all and I am very disappointed that it isn't running properly. However, insulting the owner or the volunteers in management won't get the site fixed faster. Nor will it win you the favor of its fans who are having serious conversations about this issue in the proper forums. So to us, your misplaced and uninformed "positive experience" post pretty much sucks ass and for me, it makes me wonder why you use this site instead of FetLife which is running on an even more precarious dinosaur Ruby on Rails.

Life is choices and being judgmental and condescending when you don't have the facts doesn't seem like one of the best choices you have made. Your apology would be in order.
