Robert Bates: Shot an unarmed black man with what he thought was his Taser. Charged with manslaughter and should be. But while we recognize that some cops are wrong and further training needs to be put into play, what rarely happens on here is someone from the left seeing anything wrong in these protests. When you say "well, looting and shooting and burning is wrong BUT you have to understand....", then that 'but', as my therapist taught me a long time ago, is about to be used to blame their indefensible behavior on something else.

yes and people are turning up to hear him speak in the tens of thousands, I hear he has already hit 100,000 people turning up. A lot of them are just curious, wont vote for him, but he IS drawing bigger crowds than almost anyone, R&D, except for maybe trump, and we all know why:) If it fades, it fades...the GOP think hes a joke...more fool them. I am not making prognostications cos well the GOP are way more fun at this moment in time..

The majority of Bernie's racial justice page is policy he's already been pushing: end privatization of prisons, end the war on drugs, economic hope for lower & middle class, demilitarizing our police forces, equal pay, etc. The protesters were dumb to demand a special package, because Bernie is the package. But wrapping it all up in a bow under a Racial Justice page is great for the voters that have to be spoonfed their information. And more importantly right now, I think some voters just need to hear the words 'black lives matter'.
