I am not sure which new mod decided to embarrass themselves like this? I'm sure it is a brand spanking new mod because most all the old ones have my phone number or would have sent an email. Changing my forum rank title to say to publicly say "Stop it, RS. Dont be an ass" on the forums instead of contacting me only reflects on their lack of manners and childish disrespect for our forum protocols by not sending me a letter. Besides being childish, it is a seriously inadequate communication in that I have no way to determine which of my posts they're talking about? How can I stop if I do not know what has their panties in a twist? I am not quite sure which asinine thing of the potential 86 snark bait spam threads they are referring to? There are 86 threads posted by 3 people with Kik sexting links, some frantic one handed wanker in basement and some hookers posting their rates . . . care to clarify which of my snark replies inspired you to spend your mod privileges insulting me instead of doing your job and cleaning up this trash pile of a forum? Abusing the forums for a rude personal message had previously been frowned upon, against the rules even.... by breaking the rules you're supposed to help enforce doesn't reflect well on you or Eric's new team. Don't the new mods don't give a fuck about the rules, cleaning the forums or even being polite? I think I am owed an apology and the restoration of my [Awaiting Approval] forum rank text... but what do you think? Wake up Eric...

I was personal friends in real life with two of the mods before they became mods and eventually became friends with all of the lead mods over the years. However, they didn't let me post shit they felt was TOS, even if I felt they were wrong about their interpretation of the TOS... so I wasn't given extra leeway. So they didn't always delete the insults they would have for others. They knew I would craft replies to direct any snark at the hecklers actions or comments, not the hecklers themselves, thus keeping within the TOS and intent of the forums. Like this thread calling the mod that did this out on the tiles... I can handle myself.

This is why I could never be a moderator here or group owner on Fet. If I did something, I have too big a mouth to hide behind the mod tag or to do it without being excruciatingly clear about why I was doing it. Which, of course, would upset all the special little snowflakes. That being said, RS, I may not always agree with what you say but I've never seen you say anything so far out of line that it needed any interference. It's a sad commentary that this comes from somebody whose job is to set the example, even if that's not explicitly stated.

The mod tag is a funny thing, like a cops badge, to some people it goes to their head as a symbol of prestige. To me, when I was a mod (other forum), it meant I was a public servant, forum janitor, doorman and keeper of the gate. I just didn't see it as prestige like some of the old mod staff. They let it go to their heads becoming megalomaniacs. Unless Eric himself did this just to fuck around with me, how blind must you be to make an ass out of yourself while calling someone else an ass? Not all the old mods were fanboys of the ResidentSadist... I don't expect that from the new ones either. But if this isn't Eric, you should do what they did before you tangle with me, use your head because I do.

Actually I read somewhere maybe in fetlife, someone else who knows mod3 in real life says she's really a nice person and some of the fetlife complains about her seems totally the opposite of her real life character. But oh well, for me, I've been in online forum and chat rooms all my life. And seen this. For some people in life, being a cyber world moderator with Super Powers to subjugate people is the closest thing they will ever have to having any real power to exert her authority over people, and it gets to their head and blown up, she is classic. I would be terrified if she was ever running for President.
