ORIGINAL: ShoeDivaManko ........ RS's incident was an unfortunate slight in this regard. They might have thought it was "playyful/funny" but I agree that boundaries should be respected. quote:

ORIGINAL: M38284 Apologies. No clue what happened there, but it's being fixed ASAP. Given the minuscule number of people with the ability to make the change that was made on RS's avatar, that seems highly unlikely. quote:
ORIGINAL: BitaTruble ..... Time to fuck with RS.. But no time to look at urgent tickets regarding minors. That is one fucked up priority. quote:
ORIGINAL: ShoeDivaManko ..........but it's a HUMAN mistake. I think people are overreacting a tad. quote:
ORIGINAL: OsideGirl Even the Mods don't have that ability. It takes the very top tier admin access to do that. quote:
ORIGINAL: OsideGirl So, you think someone accidentally went into RS's profile, accidentally deleted what was written there and then accidentally wrote "RS - Don't be an ass"? quote:
ORIGINAL: LadyPact Holy ever loving phuck! .......... By definition, a mistake is something that happens without intent. It's not about opening Administrative access to specifically go and change something......... LadyPact swore... does she normally do that? Thanks to you guys pointing our that it wasn't a mistake, accident or the worlds longest type-o, I have been getting letters and theories about why I may have been called an ass. One theory is because I used the owner's first name in an open forum. I sorta' though his name was common knowledge and back in the day when we talked about powers that be, you had to discern between them by name, which often occurred on the forums as well as Tiffany's signed letter on CollarMe.com after she absconded with the domain. I admit I may not recall accurately how much of this name mentioning happened in open chat vs private chat, so it is a plausible theory... especially since Mod3 said when they all left, there was only 2 people that still had access and one was support. If M38284 is new, that makes 3 or more. Either way, using a personal identifier, no matter how vague, is a violation of old school BDSM protocol whether other people were doing it or not. My bad and to the owner, you have my apology for my poor protocol. However, I am sure this isn't what got someone's panties in a twist or I would have gotten a note and the owner would have deleted the instances where his name was mentioned. Because your replies have pointed the childish malice from someone in CM management, a confused and sincere member wrote me asking what the hell was going on? They asked about the Mod Wars I & II, about the owner etc. I found myself trying to answer without naming names but putting events in chronological order so they understood the management changes, conflicts etc. It turned into a 622 word letter that is half finished and I didn't send it. I don't know the owner personally. We have mutual friends in real life so some of the story is second hand. I don't think it is bad taste to share my understanding of what happened over the years here at CollarDrama but . . . does putting that information in the wind just add to all problems and make more fuel for gossip? Should I just shut up or finish the letter? What if we all get together and quit all this baby talk about "certain people" doing "certain things" and just tell it like it is in a thread with unbiased dialogue? The truth of it is an endearing story about the owner's struggle with a variety of obstacles. I see former ex mods have come back to the forums lately. If they all got together and told the story about the past 5 years, it would dispel all the bullshit by providing some factual insight. I am sure it will evoke empathy in some and loathing in others. But at least you could love or hate it honestly. Maybe it would scrounge up some sincere help and inspire a little patience and tolerance from our membership. When I feel frustrated with or embarrassed by being associated with CollarChat because of the state of affairs, I remind myself of the story behind owner's mission and struggles to provide us with a free dating site and forum. His tribulations inspire my tolerance. I am also reminded that I found my slave wife here and many good friends. Seeing so many old friends and fellow forum members post replies in this thread gives me a warm fuzzy feeling and makes weeding through 86 spam threads to find someone or some topic worthy of having a discussion less painful. What do you think?
