I think that even the first person to answer Christian should be considered brave.

My guess is that the first  person to answer christian was taking a shot that the shooter was looking for jews to  kill.

Now you're the one who is ignorant or deliberately obtuse. You're taking "judeo-christian ethic" out of context.

I still don't think the religious question was as important as the need for the nutjob to have something creepy to say.

Will you say the same thing about the Charleston shooter, or due we only discount things said about people you don't like.

We already know why the victims in Charleston were chosen. I think it's just too early to understand the significance of the Oregon shooter's questioning of religion. Was there a 'right answer' to his question? Or was it just something to say to fuck with his victims' minds?

Which only means they are related religions but someone as wise and smart as you should know that they are by no means the same religion.

MercTech -> RE: Umpqua mass shooting (10/3/2015 5:31:43 PM)

I'm reminded of a similar incident in the 1970s. A rabidly zionist student climbed to the top of the science building and started firing at anyone that looked middle eastern. The captain of the rifle team opened the armory and students had the sniper pinned down when the sheriff arrived. The armed students kept his attention while deputies came up the stairwell and hit the sniper with multiple bean bag rounds. One nut job transported to the hospital and no one killed.

It is a good thing that campuses are safer today with total gun bans on campus.

With much of law enforment under control of the cartles how could they be accurate. If the Mafia ran the U S our reportd crime rates would be much lower.

thompsonx -> RE: Umpqua mass shooting (10/3/2015 5:40:32 PM)

This little tidbit was in your link. With this, how is it possible for any person with a pulse and a three digit i.q. to read any farther?

"Mexico’s Secretary of Interior noted that in Colombia, for example, there are 30 homicides per resident, and that in some Central American countries that figure is higher, reaching 40 homicides per resident."

WoW !!!! With those kind of rates, population numbers in those countries are a negative.

I think it's just too early to understand the significance of the Oregon shooter's questioning of religion. Was there a 'right answer' to his question?

Well I dunno, what do you think?

High school student Autumn Vicari told NBC News her 19-year-old brother J.J. was in a room filled with students at the college when the gunman entered. According to her brother's account, Vicari said at one point the shooter told people to stand up before asking whether they were Christian or not. Vicari's brother told her that anyone who responded "yes" was shot in the head. If they said "other" or didn't answer, they were shot elsewhere in the body, usually the leg. ~NBC News

Was the Jew the first one shot or the first one killed?
