Already put away to be passed down to my son when he's older-a security six that my papa carried for years, and a shotgun given to my mom for her 21st birthday (we lived out in the sticks, two hours from the nearest store so she and my dad hunted for our food). Others that I already know my son will inherit from other family members-multiple hunting rifles (for deer and duck), a glock, 2 Kriegkoffs (one valued at $11,000 the other at $12,000), and one other that has been passed down from his great-grandfather. Those are just the ones I know about. I am positive there will be others. All are used in either competitive sport shooting (trap, skeet, etc), hunting, carried for self-defense, or are being passed down through the generations. Not to mention their monetary value. Guns don't really depreciate, as long as they are taken care of properly.
