Many years ago I called a co-worker a c**t.

I mean, she totally was a c**t, but my mother didn't bring me up to use language like that

I'm guessing the word wasn't "cottontail"?

I had just moved in with my then boyfriend, now husband, a few weeks earlier, when I borrowed his fairly new car to take his kids to the grocery store.
When pulling out of the parkinglot, I managed to ram the side of the car into a concrete post that I'd somehow missed (I blame the kids distracting me, I tell ya!), fucking up the entire passanger side of the car bad enough so that both doors ended up having to be replaced (first and so far only accident ever, knock on wood).

I panicked, and was terrified of telling him, so I told him instead that I found it like that when I got back from the store, and somebody must have rammed the side while parking or something.

Because both kids (2 and 4) at the time were in the car, I ended up talking to them about how terrible it was that somebody did that, and how we found the car like that coming out of the store, so that by the time we got home, both of their memories of what had happened were so confused that they ended up backing up my story.

It took me over a year and a half of marriage to finally fess up to him about what had really happened.
The kids still don't know, but then again they were young enough that they don't remember anything about the whole thing either.

I dressed in tan Khakis and a red shirt (Target store colors) to slip in to a black friday sale before the huge line ahead of me.
That was the last time I did black Friday, roughly 20 yrs ago.

I read my younger sister's diary several decades ago. In it she confessed that she'd borrowed one of my favorite blouses, stained it, washed it in hot water, and it had shrunk to Barbie-doll size so she hid it away. And because of my transgression I couldn't even nail her for it! Karma is indeed a bitch.

The most shame inducing things I've done in these past 12 months...

1) During several days these past few weeks I've eaten two extra Gummi multi B vitamins more than recommended. I'm taking them because I've had bronchitis off and on (I had one week off) these past 2 1/2 months, and I'm on my 3rd round of ten day long antibiotics (which will kill a lot of good bacteria in my bowels that help manufacture some B vitamins). I'm trying to avoid getting "geographic tongue". Anyway, I took the extras because I was dying for the taste of a Gummi Bear in my mouth! (I felt some SHAME over this, so it counts!)

Yes, I just came back from Walmart and caved in and bought a bag of Gummi Bears. My B vitamins are safe.

2) I've had unkind thoughts toward three people. Yes, when I laugh at them behind their back (because chickens coming home to roost can be quite funny), I feel ashamed. Yes, even while I'm having a fit of the giggles. Earlier today when I was taking my mom and her "new" cat to the vet to get groomed and toenails trimmed, mom told me that a pushy person we both know, someone who seems to have no boundaries and is annoying as blazes...visited P and her "psycho kitty". I laughed until I almost cried. See, B comes into people's homes, and if told to please leave a cat alone, will ignore the owner, hunt the animal down, hold it upside down and force lovies on it while the cat is shrieking, spitting, growling, hissing (the full 9 yards)...and when told "Holy crap! My cat HATES that. Put her down now!" B will calmly smile and say that the cat is loving it and will continue, sometimes for half an hour or more, just to prove to everyone that she is better with cats than everyone else and that her magical touch makes all animals instantly love her.

Mom's friend P has a cat with PTSD. Any loud sudden noise (like his tail knocking over a vase, or a door bell ringing, some neighbor slamming a door down the hall) will make the animal completely lose it and go all teeth and fangs, doing a Tasmanian Devil job on it's owner. P has scars all over her body but loves the kitty anyway...and B pushed her way inside and insisted on grabbing up the cat and giving loud kissy noises on the animal's face. Bwahahahahaha! B was well warned by everyone and she just had to do it anyway, without permission from the owner, and got all clawed up and bitten. She's lucky she didn't need stitches.

We were not alone in the vet's waiting room. If I could have opened my eyes enough to look at other people while I was LMAO I'm sure some people would have been glaring and mouthing "shame on you!". I can be very rude when I think something's funny because I can't stop laughing, and adding more details to the story will only make me laugh harder. (If it had happened to any person other than B, I would have been sympathetic.)

wow, I can't think of any! My x-dom asked me for exclusivity on day 1 we met. I mean, I only knew him for 48 hours. Our first play was out of the universe for both of us, chemistry was thick, BUT I just met him and his asking for my commitment.

On top of that, he said if I can't commit to him, then we'll never see each other again. Keep in mind that, he wasn't asking for a relationship, but more like an exclusive NSA thingy, which I would vehemently never agree to.

But problem is, he added the stupid part about either commit or we won't see each other again.

That's probably the most shameful thing I did in my life, but I decided to agree with my fingers crossed, as I know I sure hell ain't gonna keep that promise.

I don't do exclusivity with fuck buddies! But I desperately wanted at the very least, a second time with him so if he found out, and it's over, it's fine, because I just wanted one more time.

Anyway, he did find out, and we spoke about it, and I explain why. That was when he clarified that I misunderstood him, he wants a real relationship that leads to marriage and children. After that, he asked me to move in with him, I did honour my exclusivity then.

It was dark in the slave quarters on a nightly walk to take a pee and I hit a table and broke a lamp.... I waited a couple days before reporting it to my owner , timing the confession to insure him being in a really good mood......

I told my ex-wife I had fucked all of her friends except one and then wouldn't tell her who that one was. Ten years later and I hear she is still trying to find out.

I was fifteen at the time ... I pretended to be gay (including walking down the street, arm-in-arm with a buddy of mine) in order to avoid having an uncomfortable conversation with a young lady who was rather obsessed (not in a clinical way; in a figurative, every-day kind of way) with me for whom I did not reciprocate those affections. She really was a dear friend. I just couldn't break her heart.

Please share the Most shameful thing you have done?

Hmm, the most shameful thing I have ever done? I would have to feel ashamed in order to consider it shameful.
Which I don't. So it isn't.
But, for the sake of argument, I have to consider that in retrospect, I do feel responsible for shaping someone's sexuality unintentionally. For better or for worse, who knows?

I had a pet once, way before I knew what that O/p business was all about. Nothing sexual, meaning that I didn't see him in that way, and as more of a friend.
But we kidded around for a couple of years about how he was my pet, my "mascot," and he only acted submissive to me and to nobody else by a longshot.

That was just background info. Now, to the nitty-gritty.
Call it youthful recklessness, but I got it into my head that I wanted to fuck in the New Year.
I didn't have much of an option for a sex partner, but out of the older dudes I knew who were trying to get into my pants, I chose the least. . . unsuitable one. (None of them were boyfriend material. *sigh*)

As fate would have it (not luck), that year for the first time EVER, our little gang that hung out together got snowed in and had to spend the night at a girlfriend's house.

Okay, no shame on having corrupted my pet with mood-altering substances as we all celebrated New Year's Eve. He was my friend, we were among friends who share their goodies with friends.

Dude-whom-I'd-decided-to-bless and I waited until we thought everyone was asleep in our little communal situation there at the time, due to being snowed in, before getting it on.

Yeah, you guessed it -- pet was pretending to be asleep while all of this was going on. At first. Then he positioned himself to get a better view of me riding this dude cowgirl-style.

We never spoke about what had happened. I'm sure he developed cuckolding fantasies from that day onwards.

i don't get embarrassed so the shame thing doesn't really work for me. if i do something its because i felt it needed to be. i do say if i was wrong later if i was.
