It seems three suspects opened fire in a center for developmentally challenged individuals.

14 dead, 14 wounded.

Some are calling this an act of domestic terrorism.

Just a bunch of 'Honest and Law Abiding' Citizens with easy access to firearms.....

This is the second mass shooting within a week! I 'wonder' what the attacker's message; why did they do it? Any relationship to Donald Trump mocking a disabled reporter eight days ago? We know there are three individuals with long guns (not hand guns), and they were prepared. Why exactly does "...they were prepared..." mean? Ready for the police? Ready for a siege?

They were working together means organization at all parts. From setup to execution. Law enforcement has to perform some serious work. I dont like where this is going....

More guns are needed... There is an unofficial report...we need more guns... that all three gunmen...we need more guns... have been arrested or killed... we need more guns

What was your question in there, JLF? What was the point of this thread?

To show this is the 7th mass shooting in America in the last 5 months and the need to arm every man woman and child for the coming revolution.

Evwrything I have seen so far indicates terrorism. The "dispute" story doesn't make sense, particularly when you look at the orgqnization and the bombs. If terrorism it dails outside the gun control discussion.

Come on, who needs facts, why not just run with our prejudices?

Come on Butch far too early for ridiculous hyperbole. Nobody says to arm every man woman and child in the country.

I assume you meant to say "falls" not dails, which isn't a word.

anyway, no it doesn't.

How can 3 people who were heavily armed not "dails" inside the gun control discussion, assuming they didn't import the guns from another country

No it is the 7th in 5 months...not hyperbole... This is your problem along with the rest of you gun nuts... you cannot see what is coming with your blinders on.

The San Diego Tribune says they were mideastern, but this has not been confirmed.

Isis has been praising them and the San Diego has said (unconfirmed)they were mideastern, so it is quite possible the firearms came from out of the country, As CD said maybe we should wait for more facts.

Surely you see that this looks more like Paris than any of the situations you are talking about.

To me it makes no difference the reason... it still, at the roots, is the proliferation of killing weapons. What happened to all your gun carrying compatriots? Why didn't they take out the gunmen?

Any mass killing is a terrorist act ...what possible difference does it make if they are ISIS...or anti-government nuts... or anti-abortion or healthcare or racists? 14 people are dead and maybe more...What will it take for you to agree we have a gun problem in this country?

It was a gun free zone. Legal gun owners have a tendency to obey laws, even those they disagree with.

Keep in mind that "gun free zone" is not the same thing as "area free of guns".

It means that someone who is concerned with matters respecting the laws of the land won't bring a gun there.

It makes no guarantee that someone with less than honourable intentions won't.

Here we go again. Another argument about why people should or shouldn't have guns instead of trying to understand why society seems to be going mad.

Let the feast begin.

Johnny have you ever considered that humanity is nuts... has been nuts and may very well always be nuts? Now perhaps taking toys away for the killers may save lives even if it will not make us all sane.
