well it could be a proof if genetics in and of itself can be realistically connected with a specific religion.

I say show me

Please do show me ONE law where you are forced to give up your beliefs or to not worship whichever deity you see fit to worship?

I'm not stopping you from worshipping Thor, Zeus, Allah or Jesus (like Elvis he seems kinda alright but has a really fucked up fanclub)

As an atheist, I simply don't buy into believing without evidence, I'm terribly sorry that you seem to be offended that I don't mind if you decide to worship toe fungus, that's up to you, I just prefer to be free of toe fungus.

Now if you can give me some definite evidence of your deity (I don't mean that toe fungus exists, but that it is almighty and resistant to medicine developed by science and a book where it toe fungus personally wrote down the law), I'm more than happy to reconsider, if you tell me that I have to accept something without evidence, I think you're a bit absurd, but hey, we have a ton of self declared goddesses who want you to send money as worship, I'm seriously not stopping you from worshipping each and every one of them, go ahead... I respect your belief that much

I mostly agree. Even if man didn't have the scientific words to explain what was going on at the time, they were still able to document events as best they saw them.

Even in modern times, religious leaders blame natural events on the wrath of God though.

Yeh everything has to be dumbed down to try and communicate with the ignorant, like trying to explain that 3 buildings in new york with completely different damage can all just happen to fall into the greatest path of resistance. Its no different today as it was then.

One example, if you can make it, stop the hoofwaffling, give a real example, nobody stops you from worshipping whatever you deem fit, all they do is stopping you from forcing your beliefs on others, which seems fair as they want the same freedom you have

Sure you are, when you stop people from living in a manner that Jesus recommends.

You have the misguided idea that religion requires a diety. By all means provide citations showing the rules that a diety is an absolute requirement to be classified as a religion.

No we leave toe fungus worship to atheists, since they believe they are God and should be able to make all the rules for everyone else.

I'm not stopping you from doing what the nice Jewish guy said you should do, in fact most atheists believe that you should treat others like you want to be treated, I guess it's the "Do unto others" stuff from your fictional book, only atheists do it because it seems the right thing to do, not because we try to buy our way into an imaginary heaven. I sincerely hope you love others, no matter what religion they have, your next door neighbour might be a Muslim and I'm all for him having the same right to worship as you do.

Once you figured out what atheism is (given the IQ you displayed so far it might be a while) I might be interested in having a discussion with you, so far you just behave like a truly ignorant little snert who wants to force his religious views on others. As I said, you are free to worship the stars, the moon, a tree, Zeus, Allah, whatever you want, you just don't get to tell others that they have to do the same. I'm not stopping you from celebrating any pagan rituals you see fit to celebrate.

As for deities, apart from some forms of paganism and buddhism, most religions do tend to have a deity, just in case you haven't noticed, but then it doesn't seem you did invest much research

But atheists certainly do stop people from doing the things that the nice jewish guy said and they use the US gubblemint to do it.

I have no evidence that people do things because some nice jewish guy said so without comprehending right from wrong. again I need some kind of citation since right from wrong which came into existence as a religious premise known as morals 'by definition'.

Citation please?

I don't force logic on you, because I belief in your right to be an ignorant little twat (and I don't think you'd be capable of realizing logic if it bit you in the face), how often do I have to tell you that you are free to believe in anything you want, just as I am free to use my brain and look for evidence, if you are too lazy or stupid to look for evidence, that's absolutely fine by me. Do tell me what I am forcing on you? I am quite amused by your ignorance and I don't even know what your beliefs are, btw it's defined as such "an acceptance that something exists or is true, especially one without proof."

Hey, if you feel the need to accept that the earth is flat, I'm fine with it, just don't tell me I should forsake logic and science and buy into it. Galileo Galilei made some scientific discoveries, we all know how that turned out with "believers"

Oh so you 'belief' I am free to have beliefs but not free to exercise my religion, meanwhile athiests are free to have not-beliefs and exercise their 'lack' same as any other religion and expect to make the rules for the rest of us?

You really do not see a problem with that?

yeh toddlers grow up someday and and some are able to figure out the logical fallacies that atheists are forcing upon them because atheists usually lack the required intellectual development to understand that lack of belief in a deity is the same as the belief that no deity exists, which in philosophy is called trying to make a distinction where no difference exists.

Well, that's very strange. You see, I *am* quite intellectually developed, yet I don't believe that lack of belief in a deity is the same as the belief that no deity exists. I also don't believe that this has the slightest thing to do with 'making a distinction where no difference exists.'.
