Sometimes I think you should try to emigrate to a sane country, Termy. There's a whole world of non-violence that you could possibly sample before checking out. I mean, imagine it: you could live in a place where in all likelihood you'll *never hear another gunshot for the rest of your life*! That can really happen, and here in the real world, too. Just not in the USA, apparently, that's all.

I only hear gunshots at the range.

What an interesting view of America you have. Do you think every city in America has gunshots at all hours of the day and night?

I hear gunshots a couple of times a week on the average, but I live in the worst part of town. In other parts of town you never hear gunfire. However we must not let the myth of universal American violence be challeged.

No, just the ones that are most American. :-)

As you may have guessed, I live in Arizona. We are repeatedly rated #1 for firearm owners. The Brady bunch does not approve of our firearm laws.

I can't remember the last time I heard a gunshot that wasn't at a shooting range. "Wild wild west" indeed; there are Bentleys, Porsches, and the occasional Ferrari parked outside of a range I frequent.

That is a silly comment.
The cities where that is widespread, and even then it isn't the whole city, are the ones that try to follow the European example, disarm people and make them defensless so none of the criminals get hurt.

Fear Phy. Fear. The government needs to have people fear something to support ridiculous crime budgets, and now with fucking with the middle east and making more enemies than China has rice, they need your money to protect you for the terrorism THEY CAUSED.

Really, even the disgruntled here, how long do you think people are going to take the shit ? Mother Theresa would have probably worn a bomb and tried to get into the whitehouse if she knew what the fuck is gong on today.

But the one liner answer is - the bogieman.

It is interesting that you would describe someone you disagree with as a "pantywaist". You seem to have some gender identity issues.
I am sure that there are some who prefer the company of hairy legged males to shower with in preference to women but we do not denigrate you for your preference.

Wasn't brady raygun's mouthpiece? Wasnt raygun and his mouthpiece conservtive republicrats?

From your description, it would appear that only the rich seem to need guns. Do the "not rich" also get to own guns in arizona? Does your gun range have a bus stop for those not endowed with ferraris, bentlys and porsches?

Anyway, I think there's a consensus emerging here: all restrictions on gun sales to Mexico should be swept away, so that the free market in all its sublime power may operate unfettered and so that Mexicans may swiftly come to enjoy the same levels of freedom, peace and contentment that the relaxed US gun laws have ensured for Americans to date.

I don't care what the gun laws are in Mexico, it is none of my business.

The standard fare is that it is the demopubs who want to take away the guns, yet the number one gun grabber is a republicrat. That is what it has to do with.

I assume anyone able to legally purchase a firearm is welcome at the range assuming they can pay the entrance fee and watch the 15 minute safety video. I don't ride the bus thus have no reason to know if there's a bus stop nearby. You are more than welcome to come check.

While you're here you can show off your foot shooting technique as my offer still stands: shoot a fast-moving, foot-sized target from 25 yards and I will donate $100 to the charity of your choice. We'll probably want to head out to the desert for that as shooting at the ground will get you removed from the range.

I'm not sure where your line of questioning is going.

Don't feel bad peon. I'm sure sometime real soon the Obama administration will feel that you brits are capable of being trusted with unmarked machine guns. Of course, there is the question of how you would pay for them. I mean the mexicans smuggle aliens and drugs. I'd say prostitution . .but.. english women.. well you know.

Perhaps you have an unmortgaged NHS property somewhere?

I'm 60 years old. I've lived in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Denver, Fort Bragg and where I live now. I've never heard gunfire except at firing ranges and when some leftist idiots took potshots St us in Panama (not in the U.S., by the way)
