You claim to be a fitness trainer and you go by weight and height? How ridiculous, don't you know that muscle is so much heavier than fat?

Btw what if she would have asked for IQ and turned you down?

Yes, I am a fitness trainer, and part of my job is to educate my clients. Many people have misconceptions about health and make statements that aren't true, just like you do. Unless you pay me, or wish to be my submissive, I have no intention of educating you. However, your false statements would make any fitness trainer's hair curl behind the neck. So this is free education:

MUSCLE IS NOT HEAVIER THAN FAT!!!!!!!!!
Muscle has a much greater density than fat, but it's not heavier.
http://greatist.com/fitness/does-muscle-weigh-more-fat

And again, you contribute to posts that have nothing to do with the subject matter.
The post was about double standards for both men and women.
1. If she/he demanded that his/her partner had to have a certain IQ
2. And then someone demanded that she/he must be a certain height
3. And then he/she balked and said you are shallow - that's double standard

You do realise that having a greater density means that a given volume of muscle weighs more than an identical volume of fat.

That is exactly what people mean when they say that muscle is heavier than fat.

I'm not seeing the problem here.

Yes! I had this problem last year. I was becoming discouraged because the digits on my scale weren't changing after several months of hard work. My clothing size, however changed by 3 dress sizes. So, I weighed the same, but I was smaller.

Weight isn't a perfect indication of size or health.

In regards to the OP, double standards are typical. People want what they want, even if what they want results in a double standard to their reality.

And once again, another rant about overweight women.

And once again, trolling the posts to make negative comments on any subject matter that you don't like.

Nope, just pointing out that every one of your posts have the same theme.

It's okay that you want to date fit women. It's okay if you want to date only blue eyed blondes. Everyone is allowed their likes and dislikes. What's not okay is whining about every overweight woman and painting ALL women in a derogatory manner...which is what you do.

Women are rude. Women have double standards. Women won't listen. Women need to be beaten to listen.

The reason you can't find a relationship is because of that theme.

OP,
What you are failing to understand is what someone weighs is a much more personal question than how tall are you.

And your continued failures at grasping how to communicate effectively with women is what is causing your missed opportunities regarding relationships.

As one of my friends once said, "I've lost 30lbs, how much "being an asshole" have you lost?"

If you really only want to date fit women you would ask about fitness levels and activities. Since you only ask about weight, we must assume that you don't care about fitness but that you have a thing for women with eating disorders. Which, quite frankly is disgusting.

Having a relationship with someone who happens to have an illness is one thing. Only wanting them because of their illness is another.

Being a woman who is 5'2 and weighs in at 140lbs and is a size 4, I find this rather disturbing.

When people say muscle weighs more than fat - they mean that two people weighing the same can actually look very different. They're not speaking literally. The fact that most people do not understand how weight can be distributed differently is the main reason why they think asking what someone weighs matters. Now, granted, if someone is 5'2 and weighs 200lbs, it is less likely they are in peak physical shape, but in many cases, you are quite probably asking the IMPROPER question when you inquire about weight. The fact that you are (or claim to be) a personal trainer and are NOT aware of this fact is VERY disturbing.

I agree. M is 6'2" and 245lbs. According to the height/weight charts, he's overweight. It doesn't take into account that he has 11% body fat.

Most height/weight charts don't take into account that I have about 20lbs worth of boobage.

Actually I understand now completely why you need a 2nd job because apparently you are more than useless as a PT.

You take the same cubic amount of fat and muscle, you may just find that the same cubic amount of muscle is much heavier due to higher density, a concept most people are able to grasp, sorry if I assumed you have an IQ that is close to average.

I guess your dating isn't going well, oh dear, you know as little about women as you seem to know about fitness, so you keep popping your roids, pumping iron, most women don't really like that look anyway, but quite a lot of them want a guy with something between the ears, so there you go, shit out of luck.

That's because you have a brain... But they do say that roids have an effect on your brain, and they make you penis shrink...

Is it? Why?

I'm not sure if anyone's ever asked my weight - I'd be surprised if it were to happen - but it wouldn't trouble me to answer. Do you mean it's a very personal question for (a few/some/lots of) women?
