Status: offline 		Some of you need to treat people that are new a little nicer, regardless.

Not everyone is going to do it your way, this isn't burger king.

Don't attack, trying to be controlling, hurtful, acting like you know someone you haven't met. And than question why they are "acting defensive"

Some "herd mentality" going on. It is more than apparent what happened in the last thread, and yet some people will still say "LP didn't do anything" when the post speaks for itself. Would any of you like this comment being addressed to you "Just know that folks with higher ethics than yours" when she is talking about "honesty"

I am also serious about certain aspects of this lifestyle. Even if I don't come off that way because of the circus with a few people. That sort of sucks but I accept it for what it is.

If one is sincerely trying to learn, it helps to have a teachable spirit. One that can sift through the assorted advice one is given, one who can assimilate constructive criticism and take it with a grain of salt. After all, why should this site be any different than any other site where one is dealing with assorted personalities?

In your earlier Intro, you referred to yourself as an apprentice, not a candidate for (random) coddling.

I am getting out of this three ring circus. I just noticed the naughty love section and I have other things on my mind.

The part I highlighted could not be more wrong.

As has been said a gazillion times on these boards, a submissive will give up control to the right person but that is an entirely different kettle of fish.

Leaving that dynamic aside, NO ONE has any control over how anyone else reacts to them.

I have no control over how any of the people on these boards or at work or school react to me. The ONLY control I have is how I react and interact with them.

I can control whom I allow into my "world", but I cannot control their behavior other than expelling them, when they cross a line.

Status: offline 		Such sentiments though obviously well meaning will inevitably only attract the forums resident bastards to attack your post! No point reporting them because the moderators will not listen. They can and often will report you though and the moderators will listen to them and you, though innocent, will be moderated by awaiting approval notices and may be even banned.It is not a fair forum and life is not fair.

Yes I do care. This is coming from a person who has battled with a personality disorder since adolescence. I know how distressing it is. Until one conquers or learns how to control it, it is a recipe for disaster.

as others have stated submissives only submit to the one(s) they are involved with. if we did that with every tom, dick and harry that stated they are Dominant we would run out of steam saying it all the time.
