I realize that I have narcissistic tendencies. In my relationships I do most of the talking and the conversation is always about me or my interests. We do the things that I want to do. If the conversation veers off me, I quickly bring it back to me.

I don't understand why submissive women complain about this. They want to be in a D/s relationship, where it's all about Him and what He wants. They shouldn't advertise themselves as completely submissive then.

I edited this to say that I realize I'm just venting. But other people vent on the forums too.

Maybe you need to look for a masochist instead of a submissive, if you want someone to listen to you drone on, they have to have a fairly high pain tolerance

Lol.... I'm actually a very interesting person to listen to. People can learn a lot from me. Just saying....

You are interesting to you.

I find that highly unlikely. If you were correct about being interesting, you would never be on threads complaining about how nobody wanted to meet you.

Most people can bore others without having to learn from you

If that were true, people would want to listen to you, which, according to you, they don't. I'll let you connect the dots.

All historically great mover and shakers have narcissistic tendencies. Some positive and some negative. Total focus on yourself is positive but only if you are worth it to others.

At the risk of making a blanket statement about what D/s "is" or "isn't", for the sake of this question, I will say this: I think you are mistaken about what D/s is. Submissive women are not mindless brainless fuck toys who exist to support you in all things. Submissive women are, in fact, human beings. Whatever satisfaction they may (or may not) get out of being submissive ultimately comes from the security that comes from knowing they are in a RELATIONSHIP with someone who CARES ABOUT THEIR NEEDS.

There is nothing wrong with narcissism if you want to spend a lifetime wondering why you're alone, or why you have been divorced multiple times, like, oh, my ex husband. I was his third wife, I was his third divorce, but somehow it still works out for him that we're all cunts, and he's a terrific guy.

That is fucking pathetic.

Is it? At first glance it is, surely. So I can understand those feelings. But put away that notion for just a minute or so and consider what happens when great men and women focus on themselves and their objectives and create. Only such men and women can create such great things as Facebook, Las Vegas, Rome, a balanced American Government budget during the Clinton Administration and yes, Trump Enterprises, which employs thousands. We would still be in the stone age without them.

How does this happen? None of these people set out to do great things for their fellow man but since they create great things their fellow men and women benefit from the creations be it a high rise, a great city in the desert or England's Golden Age as well as Rome's also. It is a fact of life. So don't be so hard on the men and women who put aside a mental focus on the good of their fellow man and instead focus on creating greatness that all men benefit by.

I hope you see this.
