I guess some of you were taking a nap last week when one of the posters went about using some pretty damn vile personal attacks about other posters in regard to sexual orientation and sexual practices?

With that in mind, if I was a Mod and saw "faggot" on the scroll, I'd have had the same knee-jerk reaction.

To be fair, several other posters regularly post their own "bile" comments, including ad hominems, false equivalencies, strawmen, black or white, etc.
But mnotter's comments are a much higher quality of bile.

No - in most instances more thoughtful and/or innovative than other retorts, and in many cases, involving double entendres or double puns.

Seriously - if you can put political leanings aside for a moment, you would see the creativity.

The dungeon is a lightly moderated forum. The others have more stringent rules of etiquette.
I cannot speak for others but my own vituperous verbiage is restricted to those who are rude to me first. Down here one usually gets what one gives. Some people can disagree without being disagreable some cannot.

Making that fool look stupid was not a difficult task. They are both back but with socks over their heads. Their rhetoric is not all that difficult to spot. Constant harangue against islam,passive aggressive snark and a total inability to validate so much as the time of day.

I am very left wing, even for a Canadian, and I see no creativity in his puerile posts. In fact, the fact that he claims to be "of the left" embarrasses me no end. And as has been pointed out this happens only in the dungeon where the tos allows a bit more leeway in the robust nature of the discourse. I am sure he can defend himself better than anyone so he does not need my or anyone elses help. Have you found any examples of his vituperous verbiage on any other forum besides the dungeon?

Were you to actually read what I post you might disabuse yourself of your ignorance. I post lucid rebuttles complete with valid citation to moronic statements. When the less than literate response is simply the regurgation of the same drivel I point out how phoquing stupid they are.
