ORIGINAL: thompsonx Cop sees you chewing gum and demands your perscription to prove you are not breaking the law. Utterly nonsense. No prescription required to buy dental gum to start with. quote:
The official government sites I posted says that all of the public housing is leased not owned. I posted that the last time you tried to tell that phoquing lie. As far as I'm concern, I own it for the 99 years lease I paid for. And anyway, the reason why it's on lease is because every 80 years or so, they will bang down the whole building and rebuild. You will be given another home for free in replacement for another 99 years. So it's pretty much owning. We don't like old buildings in Singapore. Everything gets bang down and rebuilt before 100 years is up. quote:
No the oficial government site I posted says you get the interest on that money and interest only. I posted that the last time you tried to tell that phoquing lie. You earn interest on the money, plus you can use it for medical, education and mortgage. It's practically our spending money. Not a tax! What kind of taxes in this world, gives you interest on the tax you pay and save it for you in an account? Sheesh! quote:
It is not your home it is where you live the government owns it an always will. It's my home. I own it! If the government wants to take it away from me, they gotta gimme a new one in replacement. quote:
Perhaps you could link me to the date that 28k was the cost of a coe. That is another lie. The coe was 28k then there is the price of the car. The cost of fuel the cost for a parking space. How does one acquire $100,000 to have a car and still travel around the world unless one is a millionaire. COE is $2. Car cost $28k inclusive of COE. http://singaporemotoring.blogspot.sg/2008/11/tales-of-2-coe.html My fuel cost me only $50 a mth, my fuel efficiency is very good, and Singapore is tiny, it takes me 10 mins to drive to work and home. Free parking at work. Plus, I work own time own target, so I always skip peak hours, and don't get stuck in jams. My season parking cost me only $60 a mth. And pretty much I park where-ever is free parking. Being local, we know where all the free carparks are. My road tax is only $300 per annum. Car insurance is only $800 per annum. Don't need to be a millionaire to afford that. And not all millionaires own cars. Why should they? Taxis are as convenient. quote:
Roflmfao....a drivers license does not have your address on it? Why would driving license have address on it? That must be just a USA thingy. Look at picture below, no address on license. Singapore Driving License
