Who said give them room to destroy, a lib.
Who said to give them more respect, a lib.

Would any libs oppose this? Let the GOP bring guns and prove it can be peaceful with guns. Personally if they want to bring guns, if they are pro-gun, then they should bring guns, and show how it can be safe with guns around.

You actually dont listen to libs, so there really is no point.
However, No I dont think its a good idea, not just because " guns...."
angry trumpistas wont be at all happy if their man doesnt get the nomination.

Much as I despise what they are about, I dont wanna see more violence or death, for anyone.
Part of me would love to see them reap what they have sewn. But nah, not violence. Much less anyones death.
Theres way too much of that without making martyrs of anyone.

Bamas post wins for the most paranoid, like there arent any crazy republican gun owners.
But thats my 2 cents.

I didnt think it would be allowed. No matter the reason. Too much power and influence in the place to put it in danger.

Well, I think they can prove that they can be mature and have a peaceful convention with guns around. You are just assuming they can't. But not giving them a chance to prove it.

Give everybody a couple of bottles of overproof rum as they go in and insist it has to be drunk before they leave. There might be less killing but personal opinions would certainly surface big-time.

I personally think, pro guns people should just walk the talk. If it becomes a massacre, then, maybe guns are not such a good idea. If it doesn't, then, they make their gun position look good.

I think they are gonna make their gun position look good, because they'd want to.

Stef, one thing you and thompson have in common is when ya do appear, it's only negative comments but contributing nothing enlightening or interesting to the topic discussion at hand.

This is what I call, a pointless comment! Just proves my point that Libs is against freedom of speech.

As I said it would be used by the media to attack them.
Not only that but it is part of the secret services job to keep weapons out.
Many of the people on here want a sooting on the covention floor.
The very people who are supporting this would turn around and attack them
for being a bunch of wackos.
Further it has been completly ignored that this is an online poll, not a plan by the GOP.

They should have the courage of their convictions, and they said they would not attend venues where open carry was not allowed. Let them carry.

FR -

How about doing what America always turns things into and is best at - generating revenue?

Allow the guns and put the Republican convention on Pay-Per-View.
$39.99 for any one night, or $99.99 for the entire 4 days.

Cool, all money goes to charity! It will be a very boring show though.

Sips his evening, for it is the hour of the eve here, sipping Chardonnay. Scoffs at the second amendment, orange chocolate, albeit I feel sorry for all those armless bears.

I thought in some of your states it was now legal for school kids to carry arms. Now, if children can carry arms, surely these pussies at A GOP convention can

It is a bad idea for a couple of reasons.
One a anti Republican nutcase would have an easier time getting in to attack someone.
Two even if he was wearing vote for Hillary and death to the NRA buttons the press and every lib on here would proclaim him to be a Republican NRA member.
Three NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN would focus on the guns and not the convention. In the probable event that there were no incidences all we would hear would be how they doged a bullet.

But it's OK with you to carry guns in zoos... or schools, bars, and childcare centers... don't be a hypocrite.

Its only democrats that riot and burn down cvs's.

That's exactly the first thing I thought of when I read his post. Whatever bad thing that could happen under this senerio would be much worse if democrats have guns at their convention. Yet the best he can come up with in rebutal is you're a"fucking idiot". It's just a matter of time until "fucking idiot" evolves into racist sexist bigot homophobe.

That is what you get for listening to the media.
There are a couple of states where CCW holders who are COLLEGE STUDENTS are allowed to carry. However nowhere is it legal for KIDS to carry guns to school.

It is illegal to carry in a bar. As I stated earlier alcohol and guns mix as well as alcohol and cars.
It is illegal to carry in a school.
I am not being a hypocrite.
I pointed out that the first reason not to have open carry at the convention is that it would be a PR disaster.
Also I carry concealed which is much different than open carry.
I have mentioned before that I don't approve of open carry.
So basicly your attack is based on what you want me to support, not what I actually support.
